Alpine Meadows is very nice & relaxing in the summer. It’s close enough to Lake Tahoe to enjoy all the summer activities, but just far enough removed to avoid the traffic, and really get away! Just steps from the house is the trail head for the Five Lakes Trail - a very popular hike and mountain bike ride. You can also ride your bike directly into Tahoe City on the Truckee River bike path just 1 mile from the house. Thanks again for allowing me and my friends to stay at your house for the 4th of July weekend. None of us had ever been to Tahoe before and felt lucky to have such a great place that is so close to everything. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the tub and were shocked to find the sauna in the bathroom downstairs. When we opened the door, we could not believe how huge it is. We got all 8 of us in their at one time with no problems. We wanted to discuss renting another long weekend this winter. Is Alpine a good place to learn to ski? Thats what we hear. Anyway, I cant imagine how anything can out do our incredible 4th of July weekend in Tahoe, and wanted you to know that I will reach out in a few months.

I just wanted to send you a note saying that we thank you again for letting my family rent your house in Alpine last month. We were more than pleased when we walked through the front door upon checking in. We have been coming to Tahoe from the Bay Area for almost 10 years and we have not gotten a better deal than what you gave us for our summer get away. Aside from the great furniture, modern look and unique (almost treehouse-esque) lay out of your house, the hot tub and sauna were the highlights for us. We had a blast and hit all the local spots like The River Ranch and renting horses. We even found a great swimming hole just down the street in the Truckee. Thanks again and I will let my social network of fellow Tahoe lovers about your place. My kids are already fired up for next year. Will be in touch about renting your place for skiing as well this winter. Have a good winter in Colorado!

We LOVED our stay at this beautiful house in Alpine Meadows. First of all, the price was almost unbelievable for what you get at this house. The inside is completely refinished with new floors, stainless kitchen, huge dining area, extra large TV and 2 super comfy L couches, and unbelievable bathrooms. The bed rooms are very spacious and cozy. The best part was that it has a hot tub, Weber BBQ and outdoor seating area on the HUGE deck that has fantastic mountain views. We did all the typical Tahoe things while we were there. The Lake is 5 miles from the house and the Truckee River is only 1 mile. There is a ton of hiking and biking, and we spent a few days mingling with other vacationers at the River Ranch. I highly recommend booking this house before someone else realizes what kind of value they get for the discounted price.
