Alpine Meadows is very nice & relaxing in the summer. It’s close enough to Lake Tahoe to enjoy all the summer activities, but just far enough removed to avoid the traffic, and really get away! Just steps from the cabin is the trail head for the Five Lakes Trail - a very popular hike and mountain bike ride.
