Why the Owner Chose WaterColor
I have been vacationing in the Destin/30A area for many years and found what I was looking for at Watercolor. I bought a lot and worked with an architect and designer to build my dream home.
The Unique Benefits at this House
My home is one of the closest to the beach. In Phase 1, I selected a location close to the beach but also within an easy stroll to Seaside and to Western Lake, with it's recreational facilities and walking/jogging trails. With multiple flat screen TVs, ipod with video dock, DVDs, speakers throughout and wireless internet, you are set for inhome entertainment. A gourmet kitchen lets you cook in comfort should you want to take a break from dining out at many of the available restaurants within walking distance of my home.

The Perfect Family Vacation Spot!!

After searching for months for the perfect place for a family vacation with my children and their families, my husband and I found this beautiful home in Watercolor on VRBO. We have had good experiences with VRBO, but this was undoubtedly the VERY best. The house was perfect for our needs and the needs of our family. The layout of the house gave us plenty of room to relax together and yet children were able to sleep and take naps when needed. All rooms were furnished as shown in the pictures and we were not disappointed with the beautiful furnishings. The kitchen is totally furnished with all the essentials for cooking and the highest quality of appliances. Biking around Watercolor and Seaside is the main mode of transportation and the house furnished us with four bikes. We had access to the beach club and the pool which was a bonus when we did not head to the beach. The owner, as well as her designated "on-site" hostess, was a real plus and very helpful. I can not say enough good things about our experience at Watercolor and this lovely home. We plan to make our trip an annual event.

This house was absolutely stunning! Beautiful furnishings and an awesome front porch. It easily accomodated 6 adults and 3 children with room for one more child. The house was within easy walking distance to the beach and an easy walk or bike ride to Seaside (we did both). We loved how there was no need to get in a car when all the restaurants and shopping were within walking distance from the house. The owner was very helpful answering all of our questions prior to our visit, as well as the local hosts during our stay. We are looking forward to returning to Watercolor and renting this property again. I have already made recommendations to friends. It was the best family vacation we have had in a long time!

Our family loved staying here. It's close to everything and plenty of room for everyone. It's within walking distance to the pool, beach and town center and biking distance to Camp Watercolor, Seaside, the grocery store and more. The home was in immaculate condition and the decor is modern-sophisticate, very comfortable. There was plenty of space for our family of five and it could easily accommodate two small families. It would also be the perfect house for a girls weekend getaway. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I take my son and daughter, their spouses and the four children on a "Granddaddy Pays for All" vacation every year. We have rented upscale homes at many places, including Pensacola Beach, Rosemary Beach and WaterColor, Big Cedar, etc. This home at 134 Mystic Cobalt is one of the very best!!! This charming property has everything... we especially enjoyed the large common area/ great room... one big space for lounging, cooking, dining, big TV... plenty of room for the whole gang. It was HOT while we were there, but there's plenty of A/C... more than adequate, nice appliances, and comfortable, stylish furnishings. It SO close to the beach, pools, shops, restaurants, lake, etc., but just far enough away to have the "neighborhood" feeling and charm. Bicycles are provided for quick and easy jaunts to all of the great attractions. The owner and local representative are helpful and pleasant to do business with. If I had to hunt for something to complain about, it would be the water-stingy shower head... that's a trend in plumbing these days, so I accept it (there's ample water pressure). The bedrooms are easily separated from the sounds coming from the great room/ family area, so you can nap without being disturbed. The kids absolutely loved the bunk room upstairs... it was their secret hide-out. All of the adults had a wonderful time, too. This is a great place for a family group of six to ten people... you will love it, as we did. Enjoy !!! Roger Memphis, Tennessee
