THE BEST.....peace & quiet with the day's first steaming mug of fresh hot coffee in hand, you step on the deck & view the mountains rising over morning mist-filled valleys & sounds of the forest. Fall provides the mountains a display of multicolor splendor. The unit is just a short drive to many area attractions. Guests comment the pictures do not do it justice.
This beautiful 1,500 square foot first floor unit is tucked in a quiet corner of the mountains. It was designed to satisfy the comfort of many type guests.....families, seniors (HANDICAPPED ACCESS - 2 steps to front door), romantic getaway.
You'll be pleased entering the front door of this clean, fresh & well maintained 1,500 square foot unit all on one floor. Wonderful cathedral ceilings in GREAT room & kitchen. Kitchen has regular sized stove, frig, micro & dishwasher. Meals are enjoyed on the deck and/or kitchen overlooking mountains (deck access from kitchen). Master Bedroom with queen bed (deck access) to deck for an evening listening to the sounds of nature or relax in the jetted tub in master bath. Master bath also has a separate walk in shower. Second bedroom has queen bed, third bedroom has trundle - 2 single beds. Great room sofa is an innerspring queen sleeper sofa which is truly comfortable. Unit has heat pump/air conditioning & all rooms have ceiling fans.
Our location provides easy access to Asheville (15 minutes north), Hendersonville (15 minutes south), Lake Lure, Brevard & many sites of interest. Plan a trip to Biltmore Estates (15 minutes) & don't miss shopping in Biltmore Village or Hendersonville & Asheville with many shops & local galleries with unique creations by local artists, numerous antique shops, golf courses, whitewater rafting, renowned poet Carl Sandburg's home, DuPont State Forest with spectacular waterfalls & hiking, Appalachian Trail, Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure boat tour with the "Million Dollar View," Grandfather Mountain, Western North Carolina Arboretum (spectacular for plant lovers), Asheville's Health Adventure Children's Museum, Asheville Fun Depot for kids of all ages, Sliding Rock (smooth rock formation in stream to slide down - fun for all), Mount Mitchell State Park (highest peak in the southeast), Brevard (land of 1,000 waterfalls), Cherokee Indian Village.
