Had a Great Time!
We all had a great time in your guest house! Unfortunately the shutdown of the federal gov't. affected our visit to Hurricane Ridge and also Mt. Rainier. But we surely enjoyed our time here on the Olympic Peninsula. We visited Crescent Beach, the Dungeness Crab festival in Port Angeles, Joyce's General Store, and the beautiful scenery from the front deck of your lovely guest house. We will surely be back as our son lives in Lynnwood Washington.

Cannot Thank You Enough!
I honestly cannot thank you guys enough! When I first brought up the idea of us four teenagers coming up here alone, I know you were hesitant! But this vacation has helped relieve so much stress and I'm so happy it worked out. From our adventures all the way from the shooting shack to Crescent Lake, to shooting the guns and down time at the house. I'm positive we all had a goodtime - and thank you so much for dinner and spending time with us. Looks like 'm running out of space. I love you lots, and I'm sure we'll be back!

Thank you guys for opening this beautiful place to us. Left 90* weather to enjoy 40* weather. Hiked to Sol Duc Falls and drove to the far northwest point of your beautiful state. Going to Hurricane Ridge on our way back to Seattle today. We will highly recommend your place to everyone back home.

A Nice "Home Base"
Such a nice "home base" for visiting the Olympic Peninsula! We traveled far by foot and car! Dungeness River Audubon Center...Lake Crescent...Salt Creek Recreation area (by Joyce)...Hurricane Ridge...Swains General Store...Ruby Beach...Hoh Rain Forest...Pacific Ocean...Elwha...Heart of the Hills Trail...Where Elwha Dam used to be...Freshwater Bay...two whole pages of adventures so you'll have to come read it all yourself! Super park and loved returning to Walker House to recharge! P.S. We are not super athletes - not trained hikers - just found trails just right for us!

A perfect location........
We enjoyed our time at your lovely Guest House. It was the perfect location to access the northern parts of the Olympic National Park. We hiked trails at Hurricane Ridge, the Elwha area and Sol Duc Hot Springs. It was so nice to come home to a house each night. A bonus was watching the US Open Tennis on HDTV!!

About: My name is Radar. My owners think they own this property, but I pretty much call the shots! My owners are retired and live here on the property with me, but I make sure they don't bother you!
Why Port Angeles:
We chose to live here after searching five different states to retire to, and realized that this area was the one that always felt like we were coming home. Although the Guest House is on the same property with us, we jealously guard your privacy and try very hard not to disturb you. We built the guest cabin prior to building the main house.... it has evolved into a 'vacation rental' over a period of years. We love sharing the beauty of the Peninsula with folks new to the area.
