Brand new villa located in the gated community of Shipyard Plantation. This Evian villa is located among moss covered trees, manicured golf courses, a fish stocked lake, interconnected lagoon system, bicycle paths, pool, and tennis courts.
This second floor Evian Villa is a spacious private end unit. It is bright because of its many large long windows. Everything is new! Appliances, furniture, rugs, flooring, tile, cabinets, you name it it's new! There is a large eat-in kitchen, dining room, living room with a wet bar, two bathrooms, two bedrooms and plenty of closet space. The villa overlooks a lagoon and beyond the lagoon is the golf course. The view is breathtaking and was one of the reasons we bought here. The balcony has a large table and six chairs plus a rocking chair where much relaxing can be done.
Across from the villa are the six well maintained tennis courts, four of which are lit nightly. Next to the courts is the large swimming pool where new pavers have been installed to allow for many lounge chairs. There is also a pool house with restrooms and a soda vending machine. Adjacent to the pool is the four acre lake that is stocked with fish. You can walk or bike around the lake on the paved paths.
The private beach on the Atlantic is only 3/4 a mile. You can walk, ride a bike or drive there. If you decide to drive, there is an unloading area, and parking is nearby. The beach is clean with fine white packed sand. You can easily ride a bike on it. Recently, a new beach pavilion has been built with restrooms. There are restaurants next door at the Crown Plaza Hotel.
Hilton Head Island is a wonderfully planned out community. There are many open spaces, picturesque beaches, in and outdoor recreation, shopping and great restaurants. There is a local theater company that stages productions nearby. It is an ideal place for couples and families to vacation at.
Historic Savannah, Georgia is forty miles away or a short ferry ride. Beautiful Charleston, South Carolina is an hour and half drive. Both cities are worthwhile to visit. There are many tours available.
