Bryant Street Flat

Guest: Loulie (Willsboro, NY USA)

We had a fantastic stay at Bryant Street Flat. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Denver. A simply elegant decor with all the amenities. Clean and very comfortable. Close to major highway connections for your touring ease, yet within walking distance of local eateries. The absolutely only draw back for some would be the three flight stairway to the apartment. We hope to return to Bryant Street Flat when in Denver again!

We had family stay here while they were in town for a birthday party. The place is amazing! Beautiful, elegant and well stocked. The location could not be more perfect; close to downtown AND on a great street with some of the old Denver Taquerias and new fangled yogurt. It is a very eclectic and beautiful neighborhood. The apartment is gorgeous. Lots of room and perfect for either two couples or a family. We have used VRBO in Europe and have had great luck THIS place is the Gem of them all!

A little home away from home!

I have always rented a hotel or through a rental agency and was a little apprehensive to deal with individual proprietors. Darci and Dave quickly alleviated my concerns with their professionalism and timely communication. The flat is very clean and inviting. It is located in a charming neighborhood that is conveniently located minutes away from downtown Denver. Street parking available. Highly recommended!

The listing description is very accurate for this property. If anything, the photos don't do it the justice it deserves. The location is fantastic, in a lovely neighbourhood, with views of the Rockies and within pleasant walking distance of Downtown Denver. The property was very clean, comfortable, well maintained and everything had been thought of down to the small details. Dave and Darci provided us with customer service beyond the call of duty and were delightful and extremely helpful and friendly. We have already recommended this property to friends and look forward to returning ourselves. We loved Denver, notably the Art Museum, the Children's Museum and Tattered Cover Book Store. Within 30 minutes drive, we also enjoyed the Dinosaur Ridge and Lookout Mountain. Further afield pan for gold at Argo Mill and Mine at Idaho Springs, visit Evergreen for a beautiful alpine lake, the Rockies from Estes Park for immense, majestic beauty, the Garden of the Gods at Colorado Springs for amazing rock formations. We loved Little Man ice cream, were comforted by The Delectable Egg, and Park Burger (just around the corner) has without doubt the best burgers we have ever tasted.

Comfort and character

When I return to Denver I will not be staying anywhere but here if I can help it. We fell in love with the area, which is full of huge historic houses like this one. There are a lot of good restaurants in the area though can only recommend the nearest Mexican one personally. The flat is light and comfortable with every amenity you could possibly need. Great having a glass of wine in the company of the gargoyle on the balcony by the light of the moon. Our kids loved playing in the enornous back garden and from the entrance door which has its own mini deck you can watch the sun set over the Rockies. It's definitely walking distance from Downtown, though we still needed the car to get to the Botanic Gardens, Cherry Creek Mall etc. The owners were friendly and helpful and yet you have complete privacy and don't feel you are invading theirs either.

Great for Families, Good Location

Our family had a great stay - spent a week @ the Bryant Street Flat. It became our home away from home. We saved a lot of $$$ by taking advantage of the furnished kitchen. The flat is much larger than a hotel room, which let the kids run around to burn off energy before heading to bed. We also utilized the TV and DVD Player to relax after a long day sightseeing. A visit to Red Trolley (just a walk around the corner) is also a nice way relax and taste some of the best ice cream around. The location was excellent - close enough to the downtown attractions, but the highway exit seemed to avoid the bulk of the rush hour traffic. Never had too much trouble making our way around Denver and the surrounding areas. If we pay a return visit to Denver, will definitely consider again - for those making their way, I highly suggest a boat rental on Grand Lake. That was definitely one of the highlights of our trip - and reasonably priced too.

Hi Darci and David, thanks for the fantastic week long stay we enjoyed way back in July. The week at your place was one of the highlights of the summer for both of our girls, Hannah and Mimi, and also for us. Your place is so well situated and it is perfectly decked out for families or couples. We want to come back again...Actually, I will e mail you now for availability. Thanks for your great accomodation. Kimbra, Simon, Hannah and Mimi Power

We stayed at the Bryant Street Flat for 4 days in August 2009. We met our college aged daughters for a visit to Denver. The apartment was perfect for us. Having 2 separate bedrooms and 2 full baths were great. It is located in a great neighborhood with easy walking to many nice restaurants and a bit longer walk to downtown Denver. Darci gave a nice introduction to the home and had lots of good ideas for things to do. Try to get to Red Rocks for a concert if you can. Overall experience was great and would highly recommend to anyone. Mike from North Carolina

Great location in Denver. Easy access to downtown, as welll as highways to get to other Colorado locations. Wonderful place to stay with a family. Our kids, 8 and 9, had there own room and so did the adults. Family was able to use the yard. Close to great restaurants. If we return to Denver we would definitely love to stay at the Bryant Street Flat.

I came to CO. w/ my daughter and another family. This flat is beautiful and cozy. The way it is set up is perfect. The pictures are exactly what it looks like. The neighborhood was nice and so were the neighbors. We stayed for 7 days and I am totally satisfied. If I ever go back to CO. I know exactly were I want to stay. Being w/ another mom and 3 teenage girls we felt completely safe in an area we didn't know. There is easy access to downtown and the freeway. The owners are very nice. I couldn't of asked for anything better, our stay was perfect!!! THANK YOU :)
