  Wonderful vacation because we were on a beautiful island in an amazing house in a great location. Blissful oaks has a great lay out for families and an amazing back yard for my little one to explore. The beach is an easy walk away even when I was carrying a two year old, sand toys and a chair. The older girls found tons of treasures on the beach. We will be back.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

  My family of 5 stayed here last summer and have once again booked for June 2012. The house is nicely decorated and very kid friendly. All of the kids videos is a plus! Only 100 yards or so to the beach( I wish there was a wooden bridge as some roads have). Very close to all attractions. We have vacationed at Jekyll Island for 10+ years and love the 'laid back" atmosphere. Thank you for opening your house to us.

Also, if you do want to use a wooden boardwalk to the beach, you can just go one street north. It's an easy walk and the boardwalk is at the end of that street.

  This is a great place. My wife, 3yr old daughter, 2yr old son, and myself stayed here for the first time in 2009. We loved the house and the island so much we all came back in 2010 and shared the house with my in-laws and their granddaughter, there was plenty of room. We would have rented the house again this year but we are adding a third family this year and needed a larger house. Jekyll is the place to be if you like a nice quiet and safe vacation at a beautiful beach. And four very nice golf courses.

  This property description does not adequately describe this vacation rental. The home is more lovely than the pictures can show and simply feels like home. It is an easy walk to the beach and the fenced in back yard is perfect for small children. We brought a small baby pool and kept it in the backyard. The trees provided shade from the hot GA sun so as not to burn the little ones as they swam. The homeowners provided a great deal of thought when planning the home. It was GREAT that they had a pack-and-play for our infant and enough bedrooms so no one grew tired of each other. The bar was a hidden gem as were the period touches. I would HIGHLY recommend people visit this property. You will not be disappointed!!!!
