Relax in this beautiful, comfy house on the lagoon, only a short walk to the beach a stone's throw away. On windy days, you'll be protected by the warm, enclosed deck; on warmer days, jump into the lagoon for a swim or take the canoe out for a spin. Or, just sit in front of the fire and let your mind wander as you stare at the beautiful Marin hills from the living room. A hot tub offers great a great view of the hills as well. Plenty of books for quiet time, and a large flat screen TV to keep sports and news junkies happy.
A smaller TV with a VCR and DVD player in back bedroom offers a way for children to have their own space, while others hang out in the rest of the house. Large dining room with wonderful view up and down lagoon. Two rooms with king beds, one with twin beds, fully equipped kitchen, large DVD library, an iPod speaker and a brand new gas BBQ provide all the comforts of home. A very inviting home with room to spread out.
NOTE: This house is directly across the lagoon from VRBO Listing #11623. Rented together, they provide a wonderful way for larger groups of friends and family to vacation together. The other house adds another hot tub, floating dock, boats, and fire pit to your recreational options. And it's about a 30 second canoe ride away! Paddle over for dinner.....

We stayed at Seadrift Lagoon, Stinson Beach, for a week in late July 2011. At the time of booking, the owner was very responsive in dealing with our email queries. Stinson Beach is down a long winding road from the main highway, so need to allow plenty of time (30 mins) to navigate this road. Seadrift Lagoon is a quiet, secure, residential area, with some properties backing onto the lagoon (as this one does) and some fronting the beach. The house was spacious, very well equipped and had great views up and down the lagoon and up to the hills. Kayaks were provided. There were good shops and restaurants in Stinson beach. All the rooms were spacious, and the bedrooms had decent comfortable beds. If anything, the photos on the website didn't do full justice to the house. We would definitly recommend the property to others.
Recommended for:Age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers.

We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday here. Beautiful rental. Loved the ping pong table, open floor plan, BBQ, kayaks and cute decor. We would definately go back! The owner was very helpful and I would highly recommend this property.

The house was perfect for a family outing. Nice spacious cheerful kitchen and living area with wonderful views overlooking the lagoon and Marin Hills. It was well equipped and we didn't feel as if we could hurt anything. A most enjoyable experience for all. Look forward to taking it again.

We spent a weekend at this wonderful house this past summer. We were staying for a friend's birthday party up the road. It was amazing - everything we needed was there, the house is beautiful and peaceful and well-equipped. Would definitely stay again!

This house is a wonderful place to get away from it all. My future wife and I have such lovely memories from the weekend we spent there. The house is very charming, warm and inviting. It is so relaxing watching the water in the lagoon with the mountains in the back ground.

This house is fantastic. Feels like your own home. Open, friendly, easy access to beach and great activity on the lagoon. You will not want to leave. Have rented at Stinson many times and this my most favorite spot.
