Welcome to paradise's best kept secret! Our gated ground-floor condo overlooks the ocean, with an ever-changing panorama...whales, sea turtles, outrigger canoes and amazing sunsets nightly.
Newly remodeled and furnished, our unit is elegant and fully-loaded, with everything the discriminating traveler prefers. Granite kitchen and baths, travertine floors, mahogany cabinets and 180 degree view of the ocean. Four flat-screen TV's, custom sound system, Wi-Fi, fully-stocked kitchen and outdoor teak dining area on covered lanai. The third bedroom is extra-large and furnished with a queen sleeping alcove and a double bed. Just steps to the pool area, gas BBQ and hot-tub. A few steps further and you reach The Cove surfing beach, and the premier South Maui swimming/snorkeling beach, Kamaole I.
Our luxury unit is located a short walking distance to Kihei's best restaurants, shopping, and movies. Large grassy oceanfront area in front of condo is ideal for bocce ball, soccer, sun bathing, and sunset watching. You can't find a better location in S. Maui!
This building is an owner-occupied 4-plex. The facilities are for the exclusive use of registered guests and owners only. The condo can accomodate up to 6.

Why the Owner Chose Hale Ili Ili
We had a lifelong dream to live on the ocean, and when this rare opportunity came up, we jumped! We love the weather of South Maui, almost perpetual sunshine, and the fact that we are walking distance to so many enjoyable things: the market, restaurants, the park and the movies. We spend so much time outdoors just soaking in the beauty in front of us. The beach is our favorite morning and evening walk, and the view outside our windows is an ever-changing slide show of enchanted island life with surfers, paddlers, whales, families strolling together. We never tire of it. There is nothing like breakfast on our lanai, in the quiet of the day; or the sunsets out sitting on the wall at the edge of the ocean. It is a one of a kind, magical place, and Maui's best kept secret.

We lived on Maui for 15 years, and in this condo blissfully for the past three years. Last year we went through a life-changing family tragedy. We lost our son, and felt the need to be near our daughters, so we moved to the East Coast. It was difficult to leave our beautiful little place in Maui, but we were glad we were able to put our condo on the rental market, and come back to visit as often as we are able. We hope others will find the rest, renewal and refreshment here that we loved and that is such a special part of life on Maui. Our condo is filled with all the luxuries we like to live with, and we hope our guests will enjoy just as much as we do.

We have just returned from 3 weeks in Hale Ili Ili with 3 generations - my parents, ourselves and my kids (7, 10). It was awesome. The photos do it justice. The 3 bedrooms were great with ceiling fans, or if you really wanted air conditioning. The living area was a comfy place to relax in the after lunch heat and the kitchen was really well appointed (spices and such were a great bonus). We loved the lanai dining area and we all alternated between the beach (less than a minute walk), pool and hot tub. We really appreciated being able to walk to Foodland and all the shops and restaurants in Kihei - especially Alexanders for fish tacos. The agent was very friendly and helpful. The luck of a new friend for my son was just an added bonus! Mahalo for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

Our family of six visited Hale Ili Ili in June, 2010 and had a wonderful time. We snorkeled in the morning with the fish and turtles on the reef in our own back yard, relaxed by the pool in the afternoon, watched the sunsets from the hot tub in the evening and enjoyed movies on the big flat screen TV at night. The house, furnishings and amenities were all first class; tremendous hospitality. The location was ideal. Grocery stores, swim shops, clothing stores and restaurants are all minutes away, yet the off-street location gave us complete quiet and privacy. The adjacent beach was perfect for swimming and sunnning and never too crowded. Kihei is also a centrally located so trips to Haleakala, Hanna, and Kanapali were grand adventures, not headaches. Be sure to stop at Eskimo Candy for the Opakapaka fish and chips; awesome!

We stayed in the condo for a week and could not have been happier. We enjoyed how close everything was and the beach was literally a stones throw from the condo. I highly recommend the place to anyone looking for comfort and proximity to the beach and away from the crazy end of Maui. A great couples retreat as well. 5 stars and well worth the money. Much better than a Hotel by a long shot. Drinking coffee and whale watching doesn't get much better than that from your lanai.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My friends and I stayed at this lovely property in 2009. We were impressed by the property. The interior and grounds were immaculate. The management was helpful and welcoming. It is in a modest neighborhood; but the classy decor and million dollar views make you feel pampered. This place offers so much more than the high end resorts. Privacy being the foremost amenity! Quiet solitude every morning to drink my coffee. The pool to ourselves on most afternoons. The beach is a few steps down the path; just one minute away. We are planning our 2010 Maui trip; we want to stay at Hale IliIli again!

This is a beautiful property and great location! If you are traveling with kids they have a perfect lower level bedroom (hideaway). We had two couples and 2 boys 11 and 14 and had plenty of room. We chose Kehei because I have a brother that moved here recently. The house is decorated beautifully with high end amenities. The walk out grassy area and wall are perfect for sunsets. This house has the perfect view. We enjoyed Kehei as it was a more local setting with cool cafe's and markets. Not over resort style. The drive up is on the modest side so wait till you walk in and see they put all the amazing features on the inside and back (ocean side) where you want it the most. Hope to go back soon and would stay in this house again. Deanna (Texas)
