Lone Mountain is framed in your living room window. A free ski shuttle bus that stops right across the street almost every 30 minutes takes you for a short ride right to the base of Big Sky Resort in less than 5 minutes . If you wish to drive the main parking lot is 1 minute away. From there you can access Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin, the biggest combined mountain ski resort in the USA. This kitchen is well lit with can lights and under-cabinet lighting and fully equipped with modern appliances. A full-sized stacked Matag washer/dryer will save you having to go 9 miles down to the meadow to do your laundry. For a small fee you can have access to swimming, hot tubs, and fitness center at the nearby Huntley Lodge. They also have free movies and wireless internet throughout.
The Mountain, Moonlight Basin and Meadow Village offer a wide variety of fine dining and activities. The location is very convenient.
The Big Sky area is an incredible place in all seasons. In the winter there is alpine and cross country skiing, snowboarding, snowshowing, snowmobiling, and a 'MUST SEE' is Yellowstone National Park by guided snowcoach. In the summer this area is well known for its fishing, hiking, rafting/kayaking, horseback riding, biking, golfing, and sidetrips to nearby Yellowstone National Park. Great shopping, Museum of the Rockies, and other cultural events are found only 50 miles to the north in Bozeman, Montana.
We can help you get discounted lift tickets ($5 off at Moonlight Basin), Ski rental discounts, and info on Car rentals or shuttles

Pros : Location to drive or take shuttle for mountain sports. 1st floor easy access no stairs to carry equipment and groceries. Washer/Dryer in unit. Even provide boot and glove warmers. Plenty of parking in front. Cons : Small TV with limited cable channels. Leather couch - I personally find them slippery when sitting.Recommended for: Adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thanks for your kind review! We are glad you had a nice ski vacation

very nice cheese grater would be nice 1100 am check out would be better then 10 am but those are very minor gripes it was really fabulous thanksRecommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Jeff, Thanks for your kind review! I'm not sure if you just couldn't find the cheese grater or not but when we were there in January there was a nice one there at that time. I'll check with my manager. Also for next time please ask me if the condo has guests arriving that day. If there isn't then I can ask the cleaners to clean later in order to accommodate a late checkout. The same goes for check in. I'm glad you found the place comfortable. I offer a discount to return guests so come on back y'all! :>)

As a single traveller staying in Big Sky for 5 nights this condo was perfect for me. It was clean, reasonably priced, and about a one minute drive to the ski area parking lot. I especially liked the boot dryer which I didn't know was going to be there. Having a washer/dryer was also nice because I could both do laundry and dry out my wet ski gear before the next day of skiing. The kitchen was well-stocked with plates, silverware, and pots and pans and had a nice big dishwasher. The only drawbacks were that the satellite TV only got a very few channels, the bed was only accessible from one side because it was pushed up against a wall (might be an issue if two people were staying there), and the soundproofing between the condo units wasn't great. Overall though I thought it was a good fit for me and a good value and I would stay there again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers.

We loved the condo and the trip. It was good to see our son. We skied 3 days and did Yellowstone one day and Bozeman one day. The beauty was beyond our wildest dreams. Photos and TV just does not compare. Again the condo was perfect. I did break one glass that I need to replace. Again we really loved your beautifully decorated condo. It was perfect for us. There was not one place on the mountain that we would have wanted instead. Thank you for making it so easy. Thanks again, DumasDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/3

About the owner: My wife and I are avid skiers that have skied almost all of our lives and have skied all over the western USA and Canada. We now live in Alaska and have Heli and Cat skied in several places as well. Big Sky is our favorite!!!!
Why the Owner Chose Mountain Village:
My Wife lived in Montana and loved it. Big Sky has the best skiing anywhere! No lift lines, light powder, No Cascade concrete, No Sierra cement, No Whistler rains, and never any crowds! More oxygen than Colorado ski areas. Who needs a Helicopter?
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
