We have been coming to Santa Rosa Cove for 15 years and have rented this Unit for the last five (I wish I had found it earlier). It is a wonderful place, very clean, well appointed and convienent to everything. We purchased this year, but when our families come to visit we will be renting from Becky from now on. Thanks Becky for the great memories!

This place is paradise, beautifully furnished, look at the photos, super location: about 10 steps to pool, and 30 steps to tennis court, and a 10 minute walk to the La Quinta Resort lobby and restaurants. We are returning for the fourth time this March 2012 for two weeks for the tennis tournament at Indian Wells. This place is perfect for 3 couples. We love every aspect of this home. The listing description and photos are accurate. Place has always been immaculate when we arrived, and we always got 100% of our cleaning deposit returned. Owner is very responsive if you have any questions during your stay. Love the inside courtyard with gas barbecue and table and chairs.

My friends and I stayed here (VRBO Property #226047) as a last resort, as all other options were tapped for Coachella weekend. We were respectful and considerate tenants and left the place as we found it. However weeks went by without the owner returning our whopping $1,500 safety deposit. She slapped us with erroneous cleaning overcharges, maintenance fees, and said the cleaning people found bloody hand print on the walls. AHHH! She made our relaxing weekend sound more like a CRIME SCENE. Unbelievable! To top things off, we found cockroaches, poorly working toilets throughout, dirrrty carpet, as well as understocked supplies. This place was underwhelming and utterly disappointing. WARNING: This landlord prays on the vulnerable and will get you if you are not careful! She hires cleaning and maintenance people that are unreliable and out there for the money. If you really must stay here, please take pictures when you arrive and understand what you are getting yourself into.
Owner response:We have been renting our home since 1989 and never once had any problems with renters until now. We have never retained any portion of a deposit until now. We have many families that come back year after year! When our cleaning crew showed up to clean the house the renters were still there, making it necessary for them reschedule the cleaning which meant that the next renters had to check in late. When the crew was able to get in they found a disaster, closet doors were laying on the floor, window blinds were ripped off the track the carpets were filthy etc etc... I was sent photos so I know my crew was telling the truth! It was obvious there was a huge party not a relaxing weekend. We take pride in this home as it is our family vacations spot. We have expensive linens and appointments not typical of other rentals. If you plan of abusing our home please do not rent from us. If you would like a beautiful place to stay we welcome you to enjoy !
