This is a beautiful home in a beautiful locale. The property managers were a pleasure doing business with and they were extremely accommodating. This house was great for a group of adventure seekers who do not mind sleeping in tiny bunk beds and would be a gem for a couple of vacationing families with young children. This house is about 10 minutes from Winter Park/Mary Jane and only a short distance from Devil's Thumb nordic skiing. The owners provided sleds and snoweshoes as well as spare ski gear. This all makes it a very comfortable and convenient home for snow sport enthusiasts.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with young children.

We enjoyed our long weekend in this beautiful home. Hot tub was especially appreciated by tired skiers, the house was tastefully decorated and furniture (including beds) very comfortable. The bunk bed in the basement was a bit short for my 6' tall son but otherwise worked well. View from the family room is very pretty. The owners made operating the appliances easy with a how-to manual and had back up "stock" on hand of everyday items. Dinner at Tabernash Tavern was delicious (leave the kids at home!). The owners even left us a thoughtful "goodie basket". Thanks for a nice, relaxing visit.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

This is a beautiful large home on a gorgeous lot. We have stayed there twice on ski vacations with another family. It accommodates all eight of us with more than enough space. Having two family rooms is a huge luxury with kids. Can't say enough good things about this property. We plan to make this home our annual place for our ski retreat!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

What a wonderful home! This was ideally located and was perfect for cooking in, enjoying the beautiful view from the wall of windows and the hot tub--such a perfect touch for a mountain house. We had everything we needed and more at the house so we could just come up for the weekend and not worry about a thing. I highly recommend this space and thank you to Stephanie and David who were attentive and easy to work with!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

6 adults recently spent a long weekend in October in this lovely house. My daughters live in SF and are used to spending weekends in some very nice places and they felt very at home in this house. The owners really look out for your interest and have a very comfortable home. Each couple had their own bathroom. My husband and I slept in the bunkroom in the basement and found that comfortable. It is also a very lovely area. Everything was perfect and the owners even made sure there was coffee available. We would rent again if ever back in Winterpark area. It was a good location for activities at Devil's Thumb Ranch (we had a family wedding there).Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

All I can do is echo the raves of the other guests. The "cabin" is well stocked, well appointed, well located and just a joy to experience. Having morning coffee on the deck is superb as is enjoying the hot tub under the stars. The kitchen has everything needed for a multi day visit. The beds and 3 baths were all stocked with soaps, towels, hairdryers.... really, I don't think they have missed anything. We did have a small snag with the internet access but the owners made phone calls and follow ups to help us successfully work through that. When we return to the Fraser Valley, this will be our first choice for lodging. Thanks for letting us use your house!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This home was well maintained, clean and inviting. The owners keep the home stocked with "Nice to have items" so a guest does not need to bring zip-lock bags, soap, refrigerated burger toppings, cleaning solutions, vacuum cleaner, etc. Meticulous care is given to each item and directions (wear necessary) for its use are clear and understandable. The technology is nice and a secure internet source is provided. Our son has Autism and for the 1st time in eight years of traveling, he adjusted to this home within one day. Usually it takes atleast three. He sensed our comfort and absence of stress as the whole family settled in. No bugs, no dead bugs, no mice and no complaints. The well water is refreshing! The hot tub is easy to use and a welcome site after a long hike. All of the beds have an additional thick, cushion of padding that makes sleeping high in the mountains a dream. The surroundings are beautiful, the neighborhood, with homes on 2 acre, wooded lots, is quiet. The traffic is nearly non-existent so dust was not a concern. The cute, little critters surrounding this home are busy. Keep the doors closed at all times or furry visitors will invade - they are fast! The considerations given by the owners for the decor of this home are appropriate and tasteful. We were welcome to use the games, satellite system and other technology that was available in the home as well. The owners are wonderful. My family did not need to contact them for anything that was not working. Our entire contact during our stay involved a couple of text messages revolving around our arrival and our departure. All of the towns and attractions are within a 15 minute summer drive from this location. We will definitely stay at this home next year as well. We hope to become regular customers year after year.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We booked this cabin with high expectations and were not disappointed. In addition to being sublimely well decorated, it is exceptionally well equipped. What a pleasure it was to arrive back at this most comfortable abode from our less crowded excursions into the western side of RMNP. We were truly sorry to leave when that time came!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

A big thank you to David and Stephanie for the use of their beautiful "cabin". We were a group of 7 mom's that found your Tabernash home a wonderful place to escape to. About the owner: We are a family of 3 that have lived in the Denver area for 16 years. David is a sales rep for a medical device company and Stephanie is a physical therapist who at the moment is a stay-at-home mom. Our son, Matthew is in 7th grade. We are all big outdoor enthusiasts; Stephanie's sport of choice is Tennis, David's is Mountain Biking and Matthew's is basketball, football and tennis. We attend Mission Hills Church in Englewood and we travel to Guatemala for medical mission trips with our church.
Why the Owner Chose Tabernash:
We use this mountain home as our place to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. What originally attracted us to this property was it's location sandwiched between Winter Park ski resort, Sol Vista ski resort and Rocky Mountain National Park. The people in this town are down-to-earth and friendly. Also, our primary interests are mountain biking, hiking, skiing and snowshoeing which are all well represented here. We hope you enjoy this property as much as we do!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The thing we treasure the most about having this home is the quality family time we have together at the cabin. With no home office, honey-do's list or neighborhood buddies to call, we can spend more time together. Our favorite thing to do is put the couch cushions on the floor, make a fire and watch a family movie together.
