Charming beachfront Gulf Shores Vacation Rental beach house with 3 bedrooms, 2 baths. Daydream Hideaway is located in laid-back West Beach area of Gulf Shores, just a few hundred yards from Lagoon Pass. Quiet beach, relaxing home, just minutes from restaurants, shops and attractions. Welcome to Daydream Hideaway!
Enjoy traditional coastal beach house decor complete with updated kitchen and baths. Comfortable new furnishings so make yourself at home. Wonderful beachfront porch complete with lounge chairs to enjoy the views and sounds of the ocean. Just walk down the porch steps and there you are!
On the first floor, in addition to the living and dining areas and kitchen, you'll find a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and a full bath. Upstairs has a bedroom with a pair of double beds and another full bath. The living room at Daydream Hideaway has wonderful views, comfortable seating and a flat-screen television. There is room for everyone to eat together.
Outside we have a grill, picnic table and hammock plus a few beach chairs and sand toys for you to enjoy. Walk over to Lagoon Pass to enjoy watching the heron and pelicans as the fish swim in and out with the tides. Great fishing and hermit crab hunting for the little ones.
Gulf Shores is extremely family friendly and laid back. Enjoy the beach, fishing and boating. We have wonderful fresh local seafood and an array of good restaurants.
Gulf Shores has 9 signature golf courses within 20 minutes, including Kiva Dunes, the top course in the state. Local amusements include Waterville USA, several putt-putt and go-cart locations, The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo (subject of The Animal Planet television series The Little Zoo That Could) and more. There are two historic pre-civil war forts (Forts Morgan and Gaines) plus the National Naval Air Museum and home of the Blue Angels in nearby Pensacola. Eight miles north you'll find a large outlet mall complete with Ralph Lauren, Coach, Nike, Juicy Couture and more.
While there are lots of things to do, we think your favorite may be to just relax in the hammock and daydream...in your own beachfront hideaway.

Had a wonderful time at the house. It is located right on the beach, doesn't take but a few seconds to walk from the deck to the ocean. The house was clean and ready when we arrived. The set up was perfect for our family, our 2 year old slept upstairs while mom and dad had a room as did grandma and grandpa. The view was amazing and the beach was beautiful. Sitting on the deck relaxing after the son went down was a pleasure as well. Good eating was just a drive down the road, plus Orange Beach is about 10 minutes away as they have wonderful restaurants as well. The only gripe I had was the beds upstairs, they were very loud and uncomfortable, in the end it didn't matter as no one slept on them. Either way I would totally recommend the Daydream Hideaway!
Owner response:We are so glad these guests had a good time and have already contacted us to make arrangements for next year. This is the first time any of our guests has ever mentioned any issue about the upstairs beds. We'll check it out!

We just returned from a week at Daydream Hideaway!! This is a great beach house,..very clean,..it was the perfect place for our family of six. Best of all it was just steps away from the beach!! The upstairs bedroom was a great choice for 'Mimi' and 'Poppy' to sleep late in the mornings,..very quiet, even with our two grandsons running around downstairs early in the morning,..didn't hear any noise at all!! Also, it was not too far away from some good restaurants,..Lulu's and Nolan's were our favorite ones! We would pick this house again,..for sure, if we do return to Gulf Shores!

We are longing to be back at Daydream Hideaway and we just left a week ago. It was a lovely home, tastefully decorated, and the perfect location. Quiet, low traffic area was perfect for us and our children. My son, who is 4, developed an instant love for the sand and sea life. My daughter's favorite spot was definitely the hammock. We loved everything about our stay and found it really hard to leave our home away from home. We are already planning our dates to return next year. Oh, and Desoto's Seafood is wonderful if you are looking for somewhere close to get a great meal. Wonderful home, wonderful beach...can't ask for any more than that. Thank you!!!

This place is all that and a bag of chips!!!! We will be back, you can count on that. Absolutely everything people need for a awesome vacation. Couldn't get any TV, but I didn't care. Our parents kinda did, they didn't get out as much as the rest of us.The best was sitting on the beach at midnight and playing in the surf. Love it and Thank You very much.
