Come stay with us at the Terrace at Pelican Beach #907. This professionally decorated condo has a large kitchen, 3 bedrooms & 3 baths: 2 bedroom are private suites & twin beds in the 3rd bedroom .... “the” best unit for your hard earned money.
Enjoy views of the beach from the side & see vistas of the Destin Harbor & a view of the Destin bridge from the front, from inside! Now step out onto the wrap around balcony & "feel" the full view. Hear the fountain below? Look back to the East & see all the way down the beach (a spectacular canvas of lights at night). See the fountain & little bridge crossing the lake in the pictures?
Down in Chan's Market Cafe, see Lise. Starbucks Coffee & Granny Hester's Sweet Potato Biscuits are waiting for you (tell her we sent you). Lunch? "cheeseburger in paradise", or, fish & shrimp baskets, or Lise's special pizza?
Mosey down to the Tiki Bar on the beach. 3 nights (during warm months & late afternoons) live entertainers perform. Imagine sipping on your frozen daiquiri, or flavored ice tea, while feeling the wonderful breeze....all with the backdrop of live music & sounds of the waves!
We decorated 907 in fresh lime greens & reds. The master suite has a private door out onto the balcony. The king size bed has an amazingly comfortable mattress, dressing area & Jacuzzi tub in the private bath. The middle bedroom has twin beds adjacent to the hall bath. The 2nd suite has a comfy queen size bed "and" private balcony. This jr suite actually is an efficiency with a wet bar, small fridge, microwave & coffee pot. The living room has a fold out queen size bed, folding out from a big overstuffed sofa. Believe me, we designed and furnished this for absolute comfort (together or apart).
Cooking & washing? You'll love, love, love our kitchen! It is surprisingly spacious for a condo. & is complete with toaster, blender, microwave, full size refrigerator (with ice maker) and stove; "and," has Corian counter tops. An entire pantry closet holds lots & lots of groceries & supplies. For cooking out, look down from your balcony & next to the pool. See the grills on it's own deck? A stack washer & dryer are in the entrance hall, handy, but thankfully out of sight.
There's televisions in all but 1 room. There's a fantastic sight & sound package in the living room & a 37” LCD flat screen TV & blue ray DVD player. The master suite has a 27" flat screen TV (with a DVD player & enhanced speakers). Mr. Jr. suite has his television & DVD player, too. Oh, &, yes, bring your computer, we're wireless. If everybody ain't happy,.....nobody's happy, right? Happy & safe.
Safety, absolutely. The Resorts of Pelican Beach have a guarded entrance with 24 hour security. Different colored flags are flown on the beach daily indicating the mood of the Gulf (imperative to be aware of). All amenities throughout the resorts are shared at Pelican. (For example, the "kidz zone" which offers cool day & evening activities for little darlings.)
The front desk is manned 24/7 & there's an information booklet in the room, but we also like for you to know how to reach us. Should something come up, our office is on the 1st floor. Monday through Friday, between 9:30 & 4:00, "Wonder" Wendy is available. Wendy or either Mr. Adams or Ms Adams are here to assist during week days.
Location, location, location! You have it! Located in the heart of Destin on the Gulf of Mexico, and...to give you just an idea, across the street is Big Kahauna Water Park. (Discount tickets are at the front desk.) In easy walking distance (within 3 blocks) are: restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores etc. Inside 2 blocks: Walgreens, Mellow Mushroom restaurant (next door to Pelican), La Paz Mexican Restaurant (so good), Winn Dixie Grocery, Target, The Lively Movie Theater, Another Broken Egg (local favorite breakfast café), health food store, cleaners, UPS, & all you can eat sushi & seafood. Seriously, just to name a few. And, within a mile & east of Pelican is a Blockbuster Video, Jim "N" Nicks Bar-B-Q (too good), Wal-Mart Super Center, Fresh Market & Destin’s new fitness center, Indian Bayou Golf & Country Club, (public welcome) serves lunch, & has been a favorite with locals since the '80s. Harbor Docks & Dewey Destin’s seafood (absolutely "the" best fresh seafood in Destin), are both a few blocks west of Pelican. Sailing, boats, kayaks, wave runners, and pontoon boats: 5 minutes away (call Sailing South or Luther's, tell them we sent you).
Three miles east, is Destin Commons & the Rave movie theater (definitely have a Dave's Dog if you go). Across the street 1 way, is a Publix Grocery, Old Navy, Stein Mart, Chan’s Wine World (huge selection). Across the street to the south are 2 more shopping centers that have a Barnes & Nobles, Cracker Barrel, Sarah K’s Gourmet (get the crab balls), still just only naming some. Ten more minutes down Emerald Coast Pkwy & you’ll find one of the largest discount shopping outlet malls in the southeast, Silver Sands Factory Outlet Mall.
Emerald Grand, the newest play place (at the foot of the Destin bridge), has brought Destin, Commanders Palace, TRUE DINING MEMORIES & EXPERIENCES happen there! Only 2 in the world!
We’ve lived in Destin for 30 years & have all the local info you'll need.
Stay with us during the 4th of July. Thanks to the wrap around balcony, you can see 3 different firework demonstrations: Fort Walton Beach, Destin "&" Sandestin. The secret sleeper is spending thanksgiving in 907....fewer people & perfect weather. You almost have the beach to yourself. Romantic......oh yeah!

Location and location; the Terrace is located on the beach side of Hwy 98 in the heart of Destin and across the street from Big Kahunas Family Entertainment Park. The central location places guests in the middle of the best restaurants, shopping, golf and sport fishing. (see our information for more details.)

This 9th floor three bedroom three bath unit has a fabulous view of the Gulf of Mexico and a beautiful lake with lighted fountains. It's just down the sidewalk to the beach and is a tram stop for public transportation.
