Hawaii 50 birthday
A unique historical house located just across from the beach in Kahala. Easy driving to restaurants, beaches, Diamond Head, and Waikiki. It is easy to get to the other sides of Oahu from this location. The pool and the lanai was perfect for those days where you just wanted to lounge around. Sandy the house manager is wonderful and very responsive to text and calls. The house was a perfect size for my Hawaii 50 birthday with family and friends. We can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful historic Kahala family reunion
Everything about this property was great for our family. Plenty of room inside and out. The outdoor lanai and pool area was a great oasis when the beach wasn't on the agenda. Super special time with family. Would certainly recommend and stay here again!

I have lived in Hawaii for more than 40 years now and I knew Hawaii was " home" for me the first time I arrived here in the the late 70's. Oahu has definitely changed since then but the Aloha spirit of the Hawaiian people and their culture is everlasting.

There is so much more than the beautiful water, surf and sand here in these islands and I encourage you to consider visiting 'Iolani Palace which is very dear to my heart to learn more about the history of the Hawaiian Monarchy until it was overthrown by the United States government in 1893. Here is some information about 'Iolani Palace you might find interesting.

ʻIolani Palace was the royal residence of the rulers of the Kingdom of Hawaii beginning with Kamehameha III under the Kamehameha Dynasty (1845) and ending with Queen Liliʻuokalani (1893) under the Kalākaua Dynasty, founded by her brother, King David Kalākaua. It is located in the capitol district of downtown Honolulu in the U.S. state of Hawaiʻi. It is now a National Historic Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places. After the monarchy was overthrown in 1893, the building was used as the capitol building for the Provisional Government, Republic, Territory, and State of Hawaiʻi until 1969. The palace was restored and opened to the public as a museum in 1978. The ʻIolani Palace is the only royal palace on US soil.

Why they chose this property

The Historic Gingerbread House is located on prestigious Kahala Avenue where the rich and famous have lived for generations. Unlike the newer homes which are built all the way out to the edge of their lots, this home still has the charm and elegance of old Hawaii.

What makes this property unique

Just 20 minutes from Honolulu International Airport we are in one of the most affluent neighborhoods in the State, just minutes from Kahala Mall, home to Whole Foods, Macy's and Long's Drug store and many other stores as well as Kahala Theaters and several restaurants.
