Come relax in our lovely home away from home! Enjoy the gorgeous, sunny weather and the laid back lifestyle of Costa Rica! Our home offers everything you'll need: a very spacious 1640 square feet of living space, comfortable beds (king, queen, and 2 twins), loft (futon), fully-equipped kitchen, dining room for eight, full size washer and dryer, A/C and ceiling fans throughout, and weekly maid service. Cool off in one of the two pools; soak in the Jacuzzi.
Take a five minute stroll down to the lovely beach where you're likely to observe howler monkeys high up in the trees. Walk another five minutes to reach the lively, colorful town of Playa del Coco and find excellent restaurants, local craftsmen, a brand new grocery store, great coffee, pharmacies, banks, etc. Enjoy the friendliness and warmth of the Costa Rican people!
It's a short drive to nearby beaches: Ocotal, Hermosa and Panama. Visit national parks for great hiking, mineral springs, mud baths and wildlife viewing. Tours can be arranged for zip lining, rafting, horseback riding, and visiting the rainforests and volcanoes. You'll love all that Costa Rica has to offer!

We took a flight from OHare (just under 5 hours) to the quaint Liberia airport where we found friendly and efficient English-speaking personnel who guided us smoothly through the lines. Even though we travelled at peak (dry season) times, the wait times were minimal. We had prearranged a ride so we can't comment on the airport transit. The 25-minute ride to the condo on the adequately-maintained roads was uneventful. Arriving at the complex we discovered security guarding the entrance to the small, quiet, well-manicured community with two lovely pools. The nicely-furnished condo has a perfect end location in the complex so it is quiet and still very close to the pool. We loved having the flexibility to come and go at our leisure, cook when we chose (grocery stores are close), wash clothes when necessary, and sit on the front patio with our morning coffee. We only had one minor plumbing issue which was resolved immediately when we called the contact person. (The instructions left in the condo were great!) The availability of Wifi was a plus and, as green freaks, we were thrilled that they recycle. The condo is situated within walking distance to the main road which leads directly into town--an alternate route to the beach path across the street where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The main road is also the site of a convenience store, a car/golf cart rental, two restaurants and a nearby tour-booking agency. The very friendly neighbors at the condo were so helpful that we didn't need the services of the tour agency. We enjoyed a river cruise conducted by a very knowledgeable guide where we saw howler monkeys, capuchins, crocodiles, iguanas, red-tailed macaws, flycatchers, martins, many herons and other water birds in their natural environments. Renting a car and exploring nearby beaches and towns proved to be a great source of adventure for us. We found amazing sights, restaurants and beaches close by. Even though we didn't take advantage, this location is so close to Nicaragua, it is easy to find day or week trips there. We can't recommend this trip enough. The only thing we would change about ours is that we would stay longer than one week!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We spent a relaxing week exploring Playa del Coco and neigboring coastal towns. The condo is well laid out, quiet, nicely decorated and close to town and beaches. A walk on the beach in the morning listening to the howler monkeys; a late day dip in the pool right outside the front door and an evening under the stars left us with memories for a lifetime. Thanks to the owners for sharing this piece of paradise. We can't recommend this property enough.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We have just returned from an absolutely wonderful holiday to Playa del Coco and the surrounding area. The townhouse was very clean and met our every need. It was large enough for 6 adults ( 2 couples and 2 singles). The grounds were very well taken care of as well. The location is perfect; Quiet, yet a very short walk to either the beach or shops.
