Get away to a perfect island vacation in this newly remodeled 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1440 sq. ft. condominium located on the second floor, accessible by elevator or stairs. Very relaxing atmosphere with partial views of the Gulf of Mexico. The condo is beautifully decorated with an islandy touch and it's just a one minute walk to Sanibel's white sandy beaches and mounds of rare shells.
The master bedroom has a king bed with a private bathroom and a large walk-in closet. The guest bedroom has two twin beds with a private bathroom as well. The living room opens up to a full size kitchen and large screened in lanai with Gulf of Mexico views. This condo is in a very nice and quiet complex with only 75 units, covered parking, heated pool and shuffleboard. For your convenience, the condo has fast wireless internet plus the downstairs closet has everything you need for the beach including chairs, umbrella and sand toys. Great location on Sanibel - close to restaurants and shopping. Did we mention pet friendly with no restriction on size?
Sanibel and Captiva Islands are world renowned for their beautiful shelling beaches (ranked 3rd in the world after Australia and The Figi's). Besides it's breathtaking tropical feel, the islands are very unusual since you won't find a traffic light or any building over three stories. They have kept the islands the way nature intended with over 2/3 of the island dedicated as a wildlife sanctuary. Sanibel is also known for its wonderful bike paths, everywhere on the island are trails for hiking or biking. Wildlife is in abundance here and some of the most fabulous birding is found on this island. You can find boating and sailing and fishing anywhere on the island. If you like kayaking or canoeing, this is the place for you. Restaurants abound, some of the finest cuisine in Southwest Florida can be tasted on these barrier islands. We have quaint shopping, golf, movie theater, fitness center and tennis courts, we have it all on this spectacular tropical island.

It was so nice to be able to take our dogs with us on the beach and stay with us in this wonderful condo. It was just as advertised, plenty of room and a beautiful empty beach! Perfect weather and the beach toys in the closet downstairs was great. A short walk and elevator ride, and there you are! Been going to Sanibel for 28 years, and it was great to have the litle guys with us. Our Golden was a beach baby from the get go and brought us so many wonderful people to share our vacation with. We are almost sure to be back!

We absolutely loved this place! The unit was clean and well stocked with anything you may need. The Bed in the Master was very comfortable and the unit was exactly as they unit appeared in the pictures. The best thing was that we could bring our little dog who just loved to swim in the ocean. And on top of that having the storage closet with Beach Chairs, umbrellas and floats was definetly a plus! But of course just being able to walk out your door and walk a short distance to the Beach was the best of all. We will be back and hopefully bring some Family & Friends with us. Thank you so very much.

Sanibel Island is an awesome place with beautiful beaches,nice restaurants,and great shops. Staying at this property was very wonderful. Its spacious,pretty decoration,and clean. The owner was helpful and answered all the questions we had,also the property was well maintained and organized,the pictures on the internet are exactly how the house is and all the information that they have on the property is true. This property is recommended to friends and relatives because it suits everybody. Anyways,its also pet friendly which is great for those families that cant live without their pets. It will be a relaxing,fun time,and an awesome vacation!!

We stayed here off season in June 2011. It was great that we could bring our dog and our kids had a blast on the beach. The apartment was decorated nicely and everyting worked fine. We have been to Sanibel several times; we drive over from the east side of Florida. The beaches are nicer here and the sunsets are great. Our kids enjoy the seashells and all of the bike paths Sanibel has to offer. We were disappointed in Island Beach Club because it lacks any tropical ambiance; it's basically a rectangular set of buildings on the beach. It has a very poor layout for a beachfront propety. Some of the buildings have a good view of the gulf, but many have no view unless you stand on the corner of your patio (such as this one). I would NOT recommend staying in buildings A or B.....they are simply too far back and are blocked by other buildings. Building D is the best place if you're going to stay at Island Beach Club. It was nice that we could bring our dog but I wouldn't stay at Island Beach Club again. I would like something with a little more of a tropical feel to it.

We really enjoyed staying in this beautiful condo so close to the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. I liked having a separate laundry room and fast wireless internet. We enjoyed playing shuffleboard and taking long walks on the beach and those amazing sunsets. The closet in the covered parking had everything we needed for the beach including chairs and umbrellas. Favorite restaurants - Traders and Doc Fords. Lighthouse Cafe for breakfast and Jacaranda for happy hour. Ding Darling is a must see. We would recommend this condo to everyone wanting a relaxing and comfortable place to stay on one of the most beautiful beaches in Florida.

Beautiful condo, felt like home. As Florida residents, it is nice to play tourist by enjoying the sand and water. Our son and his girlfriend drove from Fort Lauderdale, along with their tiny dog Lucy, and joined us for a nice getaway.
