Welcome to Mac's Landing, a cozy yet spacious vacation home located on the southern tip of Whidbey Island's beautiful Cultus Bay. This three-plus bedroom/three bath house has floor to ceiling windows facing a sandy beach in the master bedroom, living room and two dining areas. Two huge wood burning fireplaces and an expansive deck with room for 12 or more to dine, make this the ultimate destination for a romantic winter getaway or a jubilant summer family reunion.
Your guests will also enjoy a comfortable sleeping loft with four twin beds, and a family fun room with a pool table and music center which features indoor/outdoor speakers to carry the festive mood all through the house. If your idea of a good vacation is to cook and relax with friends then you will love the gourmet kitchen. It has a water front view and is open to the living & dining area, separated only by an eating bar with high stools for guests to drink wine and taste test! Don't forget to check out the fantastic local wineries! Not a fan of cooking? Visit one of the many fabulous restaurants the charming town of Langley has to offer. For the sports minded, there is a park down the street with tennis and basketball courts, shuffle board, a huge children’s play structure and a seasonal pool.
One of our favorite features of this great house is the outdoor fire-pit with wooden benches where people of all ages can gather round to roast marshmallows and listen to the roar of the waves nearby.

This house was designed and built by Murdock and Mary Ellen MacPherson over 30 years ago. The MacPherson family has since grown to include children and grandchildren who all contribute to it's evolving character. We are all very excited to share this fantastic property and adventure with you!

This place was so awesome. Right on the water, beautiful setting, nice location, lovely home and just an outstanding view. Couldn't ask for any better. We went out clam digging, played in the playground next door, walked the beach, played some pool and had a nice cozy fire at the fire pit. What a nice place to just unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Thank you Kit. I will recommend this place to everyone. It's one of those places where you feel so relaxed, you just don't want to leave!

I have had the pleasure of numerous stays at this property and I cannot say enough about it. The kitchen is equipped as though a real cook resides here. The view is unbeatable. The beds are comfortable and the speakers in nearly every room make entertaining EASY. It's such a great place to be, it doesn't even matter if it's raining and stormy or magnificently sunny. For the beautiful location and amenities (the fact that it's 15 minutes from the Clinton Ferry dock is a real plus when you want your vacation to begin ASAP), it is a screamin' deal. If I had the means, I'd book a weekend a month for regular R and R!

…fabulous! Kit, thank you so much for sharing your family’s home with us. Every one of our group had such a fabulous time that we’ve unanimously agreed that we would stay again – if you were willing to have us. The location is one of its most-appealing features; any closer and we’d be spitting sand from our teeth. The weather was beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed the deck with ocean practically lapping at our feet. Your assurance that the house if fully-stocked and that hauling in supplies would be a waste of time was spot on. We lacked for nothing, and were cozy and replete with the constant cooking, laughing, card-playing, TV watching and eagle-spotting. Thank you again.
