This very nice duplex is located on East Gulf Drive with just a short walk to the beach on the quiet East End of Sanibel. It has two bedrooms, two bathrooms with a loft and can sleep up to 8 people. The home is fully furnished with a king, queen and two sets of twin beds.
This family friendly house has a private pool with a fence and a nice lanai with an upper deck as well for sunning. Also, it's very kid and pet friendly with a small playroom and large yard. Free internet and covered parking add to it's features.
The other side of the duplex is now available to rent to multiple families or large groups. That side also has a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, two baths and a loft as well. There are two queen beds and two twin beds to sleep a total of 6 people. Each side of the duplex has a separate outside entrance and a fenced pool between them for privacy.

Sanibel and Captiva Islands are world renowned for their beautiful shelling beaches (ranked 3rd in the world after Australia and The Figi's). Besides it's breathtaking tropical feel, the islands are very unusual since you won't find a traffic light or any building over three stories. They have kept the islands the way nature intended with over 2/3 of the island dedicated as a wildlife sanctuary. Sanibel is also known for its wonderful bike paths, everywhere on the island are trails for hiking or biking. Wildlife is in abundance here and some of the most fabulous birding is found on this island. You can find boating and sailing and fishing anywhere on the island. If you like kayaking or canoeing, this is the place for you. Restaurants abound, some of the finest cuisine in Southwest Florida can be tasted on these barrier islands. We have quaint shopping, golf, movie theater, fitness center and tennis courts, we have it all on this spectacular tropical island.

We had a wonderful time in the duplex. It was very relaxing and nice to have a pool to cool off in. We walked to the beach with our granddaughter, Lilly, and the shelling was amazing. On 4th of July we could see the fireworks from the upper deck that were going off from the Causeway. They were great! The duplex had everything we needed and we will definitely be back.

Our favorite adventures were shelling at low tide and the sunset party at the Mucky Duck. Great restuarants were Doc Fords, The Bubble Room, Twilight Cafe and Lighthouse Cafe. We recommend Baileys for groceries, Cinnamon bread at Jerrys, Key Lime Pie at the Bubble Room, Hamburgers at Sweet Melissa's Cafe and Katie and Vickie and Lighthouse Realty.
