A Desert Oasis offering the most spectacular views of the San Jacinto Mountains, breathtaking sunsets and fabulous pool, just steps away from the private patio. This superb single storey twin master suite property is situated within the lovely Desert Princess Country Club and offers all the amenities of a quality resort hotel, but at a fraction of the cost.
Cool waterfalls welcome you as you approach the entrance, where security guards are on hand 24/7 for your convenience and peace of mind. The properties are situated on acres of lush rolling fairways that comprise the 27-hole golf course with numerous lakes, fountains and of course fabulous pools with their own individual hot tubs. The grounds are filled with brilliant blooming flower gardens all year round, as well as laden fruit trees in season, from which guests are welcome to help themselves.
Our warm and intimate vacation villa comes completely furnished and tastefully decorated and includes a fully equipped kitchen as well as an outdoor gas BBQ grill and lovely patio dining set, for those tranquil evenings of dining al fresco overlooking the beautiful mountains, lake and fairways whilst experiencing the fabulous sunsets beyond. The two master suites provide superb accommodation, particularly for two couples, as total privacy is assured. Each suite has ample storage and hanging space with its own large walk-in closet/dressing area and ensuite facilities including twin basins, showers, hairdryers, etc. The suites are located either side of the large central living area and have their own private sliding doors onto the patio, as well as remote ceiling fans, 42" plasma TVs and king/queen-sized beds with luxurious feather comforters.

Whether you choose an active holiday with days full of golfing, tennis and hiking, or perhaps prefer some good old fashioned R&R spent browsing the quaint shops and museums in the charming village, Palm Springs has it all! Find out for yourself by visiting this little piece of glorious desert paradise with its many gourmet restaurants, as well as modest friendly cafes, and everything in between.
Palm Springs is of course renowned for its year round championship golf, and if you are tempted to venture beyond the fabulous Desert Princess, there are hundreds of courses and country clubs to choose from. However, the golf buggy provided with the villa will allow you to explore our own facilities to the full, check out other pools, the clubhouse with its fantastic bar and restaurant and all the other amenities available to our visitors. The Palm Springs area is also famous for its spas and nearby hot springs, and what would a vacation be without a little pampering and self-indulgence? We have an on site spa at the Desert Princess as well as a fully equipped fitness center and saunas, not to mention over thirty pools and hot tubs positioned throughout the resort, with one of the nicest pools and hot tubs located just a few steps from the patio!
Some of the other attractions in the area include the many Vegas style casinos, the Aerial Tramway for an exciting ride to the top of the San Jacinto Mountains, Joshua Tree National Park is definitely worth checking out if you enjoy an afternoon hike or just like exploring the desert wildlife. Indian Canyons is another tranquil and special place to visit, and once you've had enough tranquility you could always head for Knotts Soak City waterpark which is very close by and at the opposite end of the spectrum entirely! Pioneertown is fascinating place, well worth the 40 minute drive through fantastic rock formations. Buildings are undersized to make the shorter actors of the Roy Rogers and Gene Autry era appear taller! Try to stay for the evening entertainment - it's great fun! Horseback riding through the foothills and off-road adventure tours are also available closeby. This is a great location for exploring the desert areas of California, and the year round low humidity caters for health fanatics as well as sun-worshippers, making even the hottest days more bearable!

We stayed for eight nights and had a lovely time. We have a great deal of experience with vrbo rentals and this one ranks in the top three in terms of the numerous thoughtful details provided by the owners. Julie has likely travelled extensively and understands what vacationers are looking for to make for a comfortable and easy stay...it was greatly appreciated. In addition, Julie was immediately responsive when the living room TV wasn't working properly (her friend/neighbor was sweet and thoughtful and managed to find a cable guy who just happened to be at our location!) We plan on going back to Palm Springs next year and sure hope Julie's rental is available. Thank you Julie!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, age 55+, sightseeing.
Owner response: It was rather fortunate that our friend Rick and the cable guy happened to be around when the TV played up but we'd like to think we would have sorted it out anyway, if not quite as promptly! We have good back up at the Desert Princess though which provides peace of mind for ourselves and guests in our desert home. Our family of four just came back from a wonderful stay at Julie's condo. We found the condo perfectly clean and well equipped with everything we needed and more. Our children have food allergies so we appreciated the fully stocked kitchen. It was nice to have all the little things already there for us from ketchup to laundry and dish soap as well as the GPS. The grounds are beautifully maintained and we felt very secure there. After shopping, hiking and golf it was great to relax at night in the hot tub and gaze at the stars. The pool is literally only steps away from the patio. It was nice to come home with clean clothes. We felt the pictures were not able to convey just how big the condo is especially the living area. It was fantastic having so many channels and movies to chose from. The kids appreciated the pool toys and having their own sinks in their bathroom. We will be back! Julie is such a great communicator always quick to answer all of my many questions. We have stayed at many vacation homes through out our travels and this one was the best! This condo is absolutely fabulous, exactly as the pictures shown -- it is clean, updated, well equipped, tastefully decorated, fully stocked with all sorts of spices, more than enough kitchenware to arm an Iron Chef. What makes this place special is the thoughtfulness of the owner and attention to details, all instructions well written and clear, they even provided a GPS unit in case you need it. I would recommend it without any hesitation.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.
