This Classic Chesapeake Bay waterfront vacation home is minutes to the historic town of St. Michaels, yet offers the secluded privacy you would expect from a Country Estate property. The grounds are virtually a self contained family compound, with pool and poolhouse (poolhouse has two full baths for changing and a kitchenette for those all important "pool beverages"). There is a hot tub and sauna at the pool house as well. The rustic barn has been refurbished upstairs and is great for the kids to enjoy the variety of games. Rainy days are not a problem here! The deep water dock is ample for most any size boat and provides a backdrop for boat watching, crabbing and fishing. (Please note the owner keeps his boat at the home full time)
The main house has five bedrooms, and lots of nooks for family and friends. The bright spacious kitchen has been newly renovated and there is plenty of room to prepare a special family meal, or of course, steamed crabs! There is an expansive sun porch for those who want to stretch out and read their favorite book, or enjoy the view of the kids splashing in the pool.
