We are avid scuba divers and have always loved the ocean and the life it supports. As an active duty military family, we lived in the country of Panama for 2 years and had the opportunity to visit some awesome beaches and dive sites in Central and South America. But, our fondest memories over the years are of those family summer vacations at the sea shore... the fun of building sand castles for the waves to wash away, those morning runs on the beach, relaxing on a beach chair to soak up the rays while reading a favorite book, and endless hours shelling for that special find. After retiring near Atlanta, GA over 10 years ago, we began coming to Panama City Beach for its diving, emerald waters and sugar white sands. This past year we realized a life long dream to own our very own beach home by buying a penthouse unit at Tropic Winds!

We couldn't have asked for better accommodations. The condo was immaculate and very nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable and didn't have even one night of bad sleep. The best part was the amazing view! We saw dolphins almost every day! Also a shark, manatee and many large schools of fish. It was very centrally located - close to lots of attractions, restaurants and shopping. We would gladly stay here again.

This was a fabulous condo! When we walked into this condo for the first time it felt like home. It was meticulously clean and had every convenience that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The living area was spacious with views of the beautiful Gulf. The balcony was more than we could have hoped for. Being very large it was like having another room. It was perfect for dinners or relaxing with our book. We had company and it was no problem for the six of us to enjoy the balcony together! The parking garage was very convenient and the elevators were always prompt. The pool and hot tub were a nice feature but the lounges on the beach were wonderful! The location of this condo was great. As we were there during "Spring Break" Panama City beach can be somewhat busy. We were just far enough to the west to be in a quiet area and yet still close to all the activity, restaurants, shopping and golf. It was a great location! In booking our vacation, we found Carol just wonderful to work with. She is a true professional and was always very prompt with a reply when we had a question. We had a relaxing and fabulous time in panama City Beach because of Carol and this great condo. This condo was great for us a couple but would be nice for a family or for two couples to share a vacation together. We are so happy that we took the opportunity to enjoy this condo and Panama City Beach.

This is a great condo for a vacation or winter get away. It is very clean and well stocked with many of the home supplies that will make you feel like you are at home. The 2 king beds are both very comfortable. The large balcony is a great place to enjoy the wonderful ocean / sunset views. The indoor parking and the three elevators are easily accessible and the washer/dryer is very handy for longer stays. We enjoyed Panama City Beach. It has a small town feel. Overall this is a wonderful place to spend your vacation.

Last Thanksgiving, my family and I needed a condo location close to our extended family in PC. We have 2 teenage boysand needed a little room to accommodate all of us. We hadn't done a lot of pre-planning, so we contacted Carol about this condo with pretty short notice. She was extremely gracious and worked with us to get everything arranged. When we arrived at this beautiful condo, there was even a bottle of wine waiting for us! The view was gorgeous. My husband came down with a very bad cold while we were there, but, fortunately, the condo was so comfortable that he didn't mind being away from home! Carol's kindness continued even after we left -- my son had left his permit at the condo when we left there, and Carol mailed it to us the next week. I just can't say enough great things about our experience.

This condo WAS my home for the week! It was perfect! The balcony is just breathtaking!!! I'm sad that I'm sitting here at home writing about it, instead of on that balcony! I have a 22 month old, so the balcony is what sold us on this condo because he naps and I just spent my time out there during his naps. However, the rest of the condo was awesome too! Super clean! Very pretty! What everybody wrote was true...the kitchen was fully stocked, there were beach towels for our use and sand buckets and coolers and stuff to bring down to the beach. The WI-Fi was a nice feature too! All I can say is: You WONT be disappointed and I can't wait to go back!!! Also, Carol was so wonderful answering any questions I had! She's so sweet and a great owner!

Having never stayed in Panama City, we were pleasantly surprised by the location of this condo...close to everything, but a quiet stay. The elevators and parking were convenient and the beach had very few people close by. The condo had everything we needed, comfortable bed and beach view. Highly recommended!

Our family stayed here on the first official week of "Spring Break 2011" and had a great week. The condo was exactly as it appears, well maintained and very clean. Carol did a super job of providing all the necessary information ahead of time and in a book at the condo. Although parts of PCB were very crowded, Tropic Winds was relaxing and quieter, plenty of room on the beach and no loud groups. We enjoyed Pier Park and even went parasailing (they pick you up right on the beach in front of the condo). We could not have picked a better spot to enjoy a week on the beach. Carol has thought of everything that you could need and put it in her place!

I have to say that when I rented this condo last summer, I got way more than I expected..my brother and I brought our parents down for a 7 night family vacation and the owners were absolutely AMAZING. Carol helped me with every single detail, so much that I now have an adopted family in Georgia!! The condo pictures do not do it justice..it is beautiful and the view from that balcony words can not describe!! I loved the atmosphere of Tropic Winds, not too crowded but we still met a lot of nice people..I have a small child and there was a security guard there all day and night, that made me feel safe...The location of Tropic Winds is perfect only minutes away from pier park and all the action yet, far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful...In all it was a great vacation and we have found our rental home from now on...

What a perfect place to stay for a great vacation. The condo is absolutely beautiful. The views are spectacular from the extra-large patio. The kitchen is the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen. Plus, they generously give you beach towels and other necessities. Definitely felt the personal touch by great owners! We stayed here for our New Year's celebration and will definitely be coming back again.

I brought my 70 year old father and 6 year old daughter down for a quick retreat for Labor Day Weekend. Having the elevators, short steps to the beach, pool and beach chairs were very important based on my group. The condo was perfect. It is on the 23rd floor - so the view was the best I have seen in Panama City - you can see north to the Back Bay and miles out to sea. We saw schools of fish and numerous dolphins from the balcony. The condo was decorated beautifully - calming colors and tasteful furniture. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to where I stay and felt it was very professionally done. The sofas and beds were very comfortable. The TV's were flat screens with dvd players. The kitchen was completely stocked. We appreciated the "beach items" in the storage room - coolers, boogie boards, noodles, flash lights, sand buckets, etc. We also appreciated the great selection of books and dvd's to choose from. Great options for different tastes. We really enjoyed the pool, the few steps down to the beach and the lounge chairs on the beach with umbrella. Made it very easy to set up for the day at the beach and not lug a ton of stuff back and forth. The other thing we loved was the proximity to Pier Park and Hwy 79. If you are looking for a very nice, clean and well stocked condo on the west end of PCB, we would highly recommend this condo. The owners have been extremely attentive (before and after our stay). I rent a lot of homes up and down the Gulf and this has been the most customer service I have ever received.
