Come stay at the beach in luxury. Large two bedroom, two bath home. We have gone over the top to make sure that our home is vacation heaven.
The beach is wide and clean. Tidepools are one block away. Swimming and surfing are two blocks away. Main lifeguard station and bathroom facilities are nearby. Great family beach. Epic surfing. Fishing pier for romantic sunset walks. Restaurants, shopping, antique shops, and souvenir shops are two blocks away.
The neighborhood is authentic, California beach town. Lots of restaurants, antique shops, and live entertainment. Sunset Cliffs has excellent trails for hiking, biking or exercise. We are also home to some deliciously yummy vegetarian and vegan restaurants (we are meat-eaters but we eat at the vegan restaurant often!)
In each bathroom there is a whirlpool bathtub. Each bedroom has a 32' flat screen TV with cable TV. The living room has a 40' flat screen TV and a well-stocked DVD library. Wireless internet is included.

My husband and I stayed here along with another couple we were travelling with. The rental was clean, the owners were fantastic to deal with and provided us with fantastic information before we arrived. The location was great! I highly recommend this Vacation rental.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

About the owner: Hi! I'm Tobi (from Los Angeles) and my husband is Andy (from Oklahoma). We met once we were both living in San Diego and love it here! We now have a growing family. We have made Ocean Beach our home because this is the greatest place on earth. Peaceful, sunny, and family-friendly.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
Ocean Beach is paradise. Great beach. Nice people. We consider this to be the last authentic, California beach town. I visited San Diego when I was twelve -- and the experience is one of my fondest memories of sun, fun, and family. We have created an environment so that our guests will make memories that will last a lifetime for them and their children.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This is a great location -- we get lots of comments that we are central to everything and some of our guests even regret renting a car. We are 1 block from the beach, 2 blocks from restaurants and shopping, and public transportation is 1 block away.
The home is spacious and comfortable -- it is so new and clean, we feel so comfortable there and I don't worry that my 1-year old picks his crackers up off the floor! The beds are fabulous. We loved them so much that we bought one for our own bedroom at home. We get lots of compliments on these beds from guests who say they sleep better at the cottage than in their own bed! And I love relaxing in the whirlpool bathtub.
