We arrived at Seaside Escape on July 6 and had a wonderful 7 day vacation. The property is very private ,clean, well decorated and has its own garage. We loved the second floor view of the ocean. Its pool has two waterfalls ,a hot tub and a wonderful view of the ocean. This pool is closer to the beach than any other house. Love this vacation !!!

This home is essentially a paradise on the beach! The ammenities are fantastic, as is the owner, Liz. The beautifully landscaped pool is a welcome addition to having your own private beach The turtels were nesting while we were there, and it is a phenomonal experience for all to see. I would definitely recommend this house for families, including kids! PS: Puppy is one of the cutest dogs we have ever seen Thank you Liz

Location and pool are awesome!
Location and pool are awesome!
We enjoyed our two-week stay here. We love the area with miles of beach for walking and no crowds, yet not too far from conveniences. The grocery store is only 3 miles away. The pool is large with a waterfall and it overlooks the beach. Because there are only two rental units, sharing the pool with one other family is no big deal. Again, no crowds. Sea turtle nests were all over the beach. My husband saw a turtle crawling back to the ocean after laying her eggs. I walked along the shore one day keeping pace with a dolphin swimming and leaping his way south just past the breaking waves. Very cool! Liz takes excellent care of the property. She's friendly and responsive if you need anything. Aside from that she leaves you alone to enjoy your stay. On the negative side, the unit is small and could use some decor updating. But we would definitely stay here again.

Location is perfect
Location is perfect
Location, Location, Location. The location was perfect. Had the beach to ourselves most of the week we stayed here. We come to Melbourne Beach area every year to twice a year, and have for 15 years. We Love it! We watched turtles coming up to nest at night, and there was an abundance of sea shells this June. Overall, it was a great trip. Now, Liz, the owner is very nice. However, it is evident that she can no longer provide the maintenance the property needs. While the landscaping and pool area are FABULOUS, the inside was very disappointing. We rented the one on the north end. Counters, sinks, baths and stove were dirty. Stove was greasy, carpeting needs replaced with tile, as it is soiled with long time wear and abuse of previous renters coming in with wet, dirty feet. The patio doors have broken seals, so the middle one is always dirty. It appeared to be corrosion and or mold growing all over the patio doors, and the handle on one side is broken with a sticky note stating "do not open". Fan over dining table is rusting. We just think others need to know this before renting. We rented this place because it had a pool, and our other places we normally go were already booked. Liz did reimburse us for our cleaning fee, which was fair, so we could clean ourselves. We were fine with that, as all other homes were already booked. We booked this one for the pool, since we were bringing our college kids with us...but the pool here was clean and very nice. We also liked having 2 full baths and a washer/dryer. We ate at the New England Eatery across the street. Yummo! Spent one day at Epcot (hr and half into Orlando) and lots of beach time shelling and boogie boarding. Also, remember, with as much foliage as this property has, in the summer months hot months, with no breeze, there will be lots of "no seeums" or mesquitos. My son and I were eaten alive. Take your bug spray, or go in cooler months. They seemed to eat right thru our bug spray. We looked like we had chicken pox by the time we left. But, we still enjoyed the rest of the trip. The property is for sale, and hoping next owners continue to rent, but renovate and update and clean the insides. Family in Arvada, Colorado

We spent 3 weeks beginning in October and into November, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our friends, James & Mary Ann Miller shared the two bedroom condo with us. The apartment was very nice and equipped with everything we needed. We were also provided with additional fishing accessories that we needed. Liz, the owner, was wonderful. She was very helpful when we need something and she left us to come and go as we pleased. The weather wasn't the best due to the storms, but no one can control that. We hope to get back down there in the near future, and we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.. I know that I can speak for our friends as well in saying that we highly recommend the Seaside Escape for fishing or just relaxing and enjoying the beach.

Great family get-away
Great family get-away
Location, location location! If you are looking for a great getaway location this is it! the photos dont do it justice. We stayed in oct of 2012 and the beach was not crowded at all. Just enough people to say hello to and start a conversation while on a morning walk, but not tripping over people to get to the ocean. The pool is wonderful and especially for kids that do tire of the waves, a great break from the beach. You can walk across the street to a small restaurant/bar to grab a bite or take in a game. A large grcoery store is just 5 minutes up the road and 5 minutes past that is melbourne beach. The actual unit is on the smaller side for a family of five, but very workable. I'd say ideal for a family of four. We knew this before we came so it was all good. It is in good condition and the owner is helpful and friendly. Boogie boards and mats were available to us. Bring your own beach towels.

We had a wonderful time at Seaside Escape. Its not a touristy location, so don't expect tshirt shops and putt putt everywhere you go, but instead spend time enjoying the beach, waves, and the pool. Its the perfect place to enjoy the ocean and relax. The pool is beautiful and the deck has plenty of seating to enjoy a poolside lunch or just to sit and read a book. There is enough yard to play a game of bocce ball or to throw some water balloons. My son even practiced pitching in the front yard. We were lucky enough to see a rocket launch while we were there, and even luckier to see the sea turtles coming in to lay their eggs. The house is clean and has everything you need to be comfortable. There is a restaurant across the street, A New England Seafood place. Food was good and it was so convenient to walk across the street. I think we ate there three times during the week. There is a Publix about 5 minutes away, so that was convenient to pick up groceries. The pool is only shared with one other unit, so it was never packed. Liz is a great hostess and works hard to keep this property up. We were sad when our week was over. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy the ocean and spend a week relaxing without all the tourists everywhere.

My family has been vacationing at Seaside Escape since the time Liz opened. We found our little piece of paradise. It has it all!! Wake to sunshine every morning and be put to sleep by the sound of the ocean waves at night. Walk footsteps to the ocean that is never congested or lay by the gorgeous pool. We have found our annual escape. Always an exceptional place!

Liz's vacation home was clean and well-kept. It was the right size for our family vacation. The plants she has are gorgeous and immense. I love to be right on the beach, so that was one of the best parts of all. The turtles coming up each night was an exciting experience. If you like more beach and less people, then this is the beach for you. There are shells to find and even a few shark's teeth. The water was a little chilly at first, but after being out in the hot sun it came to be a refreshment. Liz was very helpful with any question we had. She was available nearly any time. The restaurant right across the highway served a great meal to satisfy the whole family even though the outside appearance didn't seem as it would. Liz's pool and hot tub were great right there on the beach. You could listen to the ocean waves and lounge in the pool. You could watch the kids on the beach from the pool area or sit with "Charlie", the visiting bird "friend". If you want a little more action in your vacation, Disney is about a 2 hour drive. Although we did go to Disney, I prefer the quieter vacation time. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a relaxing time on the beach. Liz is a very helpful and eager to assist you in any way she can.
