Airy and spacious, the apartment`s living room opens onto a lovely private garden, and a few steps away is the estates large swimming pool which enjoys pretty views of the countryside.
Monica, is a lovely apartment on the ground floor of a farmhouse in a fully restored Tuscan hilltop hamlet. Nicely furnished classic country style, it has traditional terracotta tiled floors and beamed ceilings. The cosy living room has a characteristic woodburning fireplace, an exposed stone wall and a huge window with patio doors opening onto the apartments private garden. The garden, perfect for relaxing and dining al fresco, is secluded by a hedge and furnished with table, chairs, barbecue, sun umbrella and sunloungers. A few steps from the garden is the estates large swimming pool (15m x 6m) which is furnished with sunbeds and enjoys a pleasant view of the countryside. The swimming pool opens from end May to mid September. Monica is a lovely apartment in a secluded position in a restored hamlet which lies on top of a hill between Colle di Val d`Elsa and Siena and affording fine views of the surrounding countryside. There are twelve apartments some which house resident Italian families and a few which are rented out.The apartment is well located for exploring the area, Colle di Val d'Elsa ?City of Crystal` lies 7km away and has a beautiful medieval quarter, an excellent Friday morning market, shops, restaurants, a supermaket and road and bus links to Florence and Siena. Within a short drive there are many excellent trattorias and several charming medieval hilltop villages, such as Casole d'Elsa and Mensano, which are well worth visiting.
