Newly remodeled Top floor condo., in a gated community. Has a short walk to a private beach. Awesome views of the Pacific ocean and coast. Located 2 miles north of Brookings this condo has a large living room and dining area with vaulted ceilings, Master bedroom and full bath, with queen size bed, 2nd. bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is a second full bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen has granite counter tops with updated fixtures. Large deck for taking in the sites, sounds and smells of the ocean. Watch whales, sea lions, birds and other wild life from the comfort of the deck.
Amenities: : Condo has fully equiped kitchen, with microwave oven, ice maker, D.W., washer and dryer, iron and ironing board, with all linens supplied. Cable TV and DVD player, telephone.
Activities:: Enjoy shopping , fishing, hiking, horse back riding, jet boat rides, beach combing among other things. Brookings has many restaraunts to chose from along with many stores and shops to choose from for your shopping pleasure.

We planned a last minute getaway to the Coastal town of Brookings-a midpoint for our friends in California and us in Portland. It was a bit difficult to find the condos at night but then the lighted gates definitely marked the location well. Perhaps the mile marker guideline would help travelers locate the property at night, from the highway. The location was so stunning-and the private beach was literally a few minutes walk down a beautiful path. The condo was amazing-excellent amenities, extremely clean and everything you could want! The owner was extremely helpful as I had contacted them at first and then they directed me to Barbara who helped us book the condo. I would definitely head back here any chance we got. The town of Brookings had a fantastic selection of great restaurants and a lot to do in and around the area. Our 5 day visit couldn't have been more relaxing. From the moment we walked in, the condo felt very warm & welcoming. It appears to be well kept and is nicely equipped with all the amenities one could need. The view from the balcony is absolutely outstanding. The surf was up during our visit. Not only could we hear the waves but the larger waves could be felt as they crashed into the rocks below. The placement of the balcony is such that we almost forgot there were neighbors. We were a little skeptical about renting a condo for fear of having pesky neighbors but it was very quiet. Encounters with anyone in the complex let alone an immediate neighbor was rare. Being on the top floor definitely eliminated any issue of hearing people in the unit above you. We brought our 5 1/2 year old daughter & 3 1/2 year old son and were never really concerned for their safety or the safety of items in the unit (although we are blessed with two well behaved children). I wouldn't say it's child proof but it's as close as you can get with a rental type scenario. This is a unit you can rent with confidence. If we get North again we will definitely be repeat tenants. The condo was very beautiful, very modern, upscale with an outstanding view of the ocean. I would definitely come back again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

Great view and location. Place is nicely equiped and comfotable. Felt right at home. Did some great hikes right from there. We would have rated it "excellent" but for one surprise. The fireplace is shown in the advertizement pictures, but when you get there, you discover visitors are not allowed to use it. We went thinking we would have a cozy fire.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers.
