About this property

NEW: We recently remodeled all 5 private in-suite bathrooms…and upgraded all five bedrooms to include King sized beds! (New pictures to follow).

Sleeps 12 in 5 king beds plus a set of bunk beds.

Your friends and family will enjoy a long weekend escape - or an extended stay - with 6 private acres and great indoor and outdoor spaces for adults and kids of all ages!

Our two cottage units can also double as private offices for working remotely! With high-speed Comcast WiFi, Zoom meetings will work smoothly and cell service is excellent.

We invite you to enjoy our family farmhouse in the heart of Sonoma Valley's Carneros Wine Region - less than 10 minutes from the Sonoma Plaza. Located on six private acres, we offer a fully-stocked main house and adjacent two bedroom guest cottage; plus our Barn with a full recreation room and 20' x 40' swimming pool.

Our property also includes three vineyards, an outdoor kitchen and dining area with built-in gas and charcoal grills, hammocks, bocce ball court, horseshoe pit, children's play structure, seasonal creek, hot tub and more.

Our air conditioned Main House features 3 bedrooms (Bed #1 King, Bed #2 King, Bed #3 King plus a set of bunk beds. Each bedrooms has its own private full bathroom.

Our Guest Cottage features two separate air conditioned bedroom suites. Each includes a small kitchenette, as well as a King bed and private full bathroom. Both of the cottage units also offer a twin day bed. Both of these units can also double as private offices for working remotely.

And last, but not least, our Barn includes a small kitchen, bathroom and outdoor shower with adjacent 20'x40' saltwater swimming pool. Our pool is solar heated in the Summer and Fall and comes with an automatic swimming pool safety cover. The barn rec room also offers a pool table and foosball table.

Our vineyards feature old-vine Zinfandel grapes at the entrance, Chardonnay grapes on the hillside vineyard our around the swimming pool and our newest Pinot vineyard across the creek from the kid's play structure.

Lastly, please note: Our Sonoma County vacation rental permit allows for a maximum occupancy of 12 guests, including children over age 3. Thank you for understanding our permit guidelines. We hope you will decide to stay with us!

Sonoma County "Outdoor Music Ordinance" prohibits any amplified music 24 hrs a day/7 days a wk. This also prohibits portable speakers of any kind.

Due to recent wild fires, all outdoor fires/firepits are prohibited. We have two indoor fireplaces for use during the winter & spring seasons only.

Heavenly Sonoma Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. Terra Meade is both expansive enough to let our party of 10 spread out so everyone had their own space and homey enough to all gather and enjoy our time together. It was the perfect place for us and Tara is a wonderful and thoughtful host. This is the only rental property I’ve ever stayed at that I’d come back to in a heartbeat rather than look around to find something new.

8 couples from the east coast could not have asked for a better experience. The location is perfect. The space is amazing. And Terri and Meade were wonderful to work with. You won’t regret staying here.

Fantastic Property

We had a fantastic stay at the Farmhouse. There are three houses on the property with a two-bedroom house, three bedrooms in the main house, and a fun pool house. We used the two with the bedrooms. Every room had its own full bathroom and that made it easy for the five couples. Kitchen and BBQ were used where we had some great meals and we played games in front of the fireplace (that was stocked with wood for some nice fires). I highly recommend the property for anyone looking for a wine country get away.

3 Family Sonoma 60th Birthday Celebration

Great property for large family & friends gathering. We enjoyed the great pool area surrounded by grape vines; outdoor grill area; horse shoe pit; playing games at the large dinning room table; and watching our favorite sports teams on the large TV in the great family room area.

We are a family of five who love to escape to Sonoma whenever our home is not rented! Now three teenagers - our kids love to be up there as much as we do! We live in Marin, just 35 minutes away - so can help you with your travel plans or anything you need during your stay.

Why they chose this property

We love our 6 private acres (all useable!) and our spacious home with plenty of privacy for 5 couples or large families gathering for milestone events. We also love our location in the Carneros wine region - with a rural farmhouse feel - yet close to all the conveniences of the charming town of Sonoma.

What makes this property unique

We bought this house for the magnificent Oak trees! We may not have a long view of the Valley, but we love our views within the property and most of all the shade during the hot summer and fall seasons and the all year-round privacy.
