This is a new (10 years old), spacious, charming, high ceiling colonial flat with attractive front and back patios. The walls are fauxed; treasures from Mexico and Greece (owner is retired teacher from Marin, California with past service in Greece) are displayed throughout.
The living room contains over-stuffed sofas; there is a tiled coffee bar between this and the open-planned, complete kitchen, including a second TV. Adjoining is an arched colonial dining area with four- to six-person seating. The master bedroom has matrimontal-size feather bed, computer desk, TV and DVD. The guest bedroom has twin matelasse-covered beds and Greek treasures. The very large, tiled bath has tub and shower with attractive accessories.
This immaculate and tranquil home, professionally decorated, with two times a week maid service, is in a quiet safe haven with interior-protected parking, located two blocks from Institute Allende and a 12 to 15 minute almost flat walk to the historic center. There are taxis galore and buses come by frequently. No pets or smoking, please.
