This rental is located approximately 55 miles northwest of Truckee, CA and approximately 50 miles northwest of Reno, NV. Located off Highway 89 in the Plumas National Forest, 2 miles from Graeagle, CA on Poplar Valley Road.
Plenty of things to do here besides golf. Fishing, hiking, horse back riding, swiming and tennis courts, just to name a few! You can also visit the historic town of Truckee. If you like railroad history, the Feather River Railroad Museum is 11 miles down the road in Portola.
If you like to gamble, Reno is very easy drive, 55 miles away.
This rental can accomodate up to 6 adults. There are three bedrooms. Two master bedrooms with attached master bathrooms. Both have King size beds. The third bedroom has two twin beds. All 3 bathrooms are full size.
A washer and dryer are located in the utility hallway, just inside the garage.
If you want to stay home and cook, there is a fully equipped kitchen with all the pots, pans, dishes and utensils you might need. There is even a propane barbecue on the back deck. The inside refrigerator/freezer has an ice maker. There is a second refrigerator/freezer in the garage for additional cold storage.
Several golf courses are in close proximity.
Several dining options are available locally.

We stayed several days during the week of Sept. 5th, 2011. The home is beautiful, spacious, and full of all the amenities! In other words, exactly as advertised! We spent most of our time golfing (Plumas Pines, Graeagle, The Dragon) and relaxing on the deck watching other golfers. I would highly recommend this home! If we decide to vacation in the area again, I would definitely rent this place. Also the owner was very prompt with responses and with returning our cleaning deposit! Thanks for a perfect place to relax!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Our family of four had a wonderful time here! The home is spacious, while still being cozy. The beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked. We enjoyed eating all our meals on the patio outdoors. During our stay we went down the hill to Graeagle everyday and visited the Feather River RR Museum in Portola. It was a wonderful trip!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+.
