  If you are looking for a really great location and an efficient little apartment this is IT. My husband and I and our two adult boys just got back from two weeks in this apartment. Our bedroom was generously sized and the bed was really comfy. The boys shared the fold-out couch in the living/dining area and even with it out we were able to make coffee in the kitchen (cupboard) while they slept. Our favorite thing about the apartment was the little terrace. It is Private, Quite, and Sunny! My husband doesn't like to tour every day (he says he needs to have a vacation from vacationing) and he loved sitting out on the terrace and not hearing any traffic and not seeing anyone. We always felt so revived by having coffee or lunch out there before heading into the very busy streets of Rome. The apartments main bathroom is small but there is plenty of hot water and huge towels to wrap up in. The other bathroom is a bit odd but was really handy when everyone in getting ready at the same time. The washing machine worked well and there is a drying rack to put on the terrace to hang out your clothes. The kitchen/cupboard is small but worked really well and we made a few dinners there, as well as, lunch almost every day. Antonella is EXCEPTIONALLY organized, friendly and professional. She checked in with us a few times, just to see how things were going, brought us a cake on Easter morning (very thoughtful and it was yummy) and made sure we knew how everything worked before she left ! You will not have any problems renting from her. The apartment is just as pictured and represented in the add. The apartment is so close to the Pantheon that it is really easy to find your way back to the apartment and there are a lot of restaurants and stores right in the palazzo to get groceries or your morning coffee. We never used public transport to get around because you can get to almost any part of Rome in 15-20 min of walking from the apartment. There are 104 stairs up to the apartment; this was not a problem but if you have bad knee, a child in a stroller or difficulty with stairs then you should keep this in mind. If we get the opportunity to go back to Rome I would call Antonella again for sure.

  My husband and I just got back last night from a 16 day trip to Italy- and even though I'm exhausted from the long flight, I wanted to write a review on this lovely property in Rome. We ended our trip with a four night stay in Rome and I'm so happy with the apartment we selected for our visit - it was PERFECT! The apartment was super cozy, with a nice balcony and a great view from the roof (my husband loved going up in the evenings and simply relaxing and enjoying the sunset after a long day of sightseeing). The owner stocked the kitchen with some goodies/breakfast food and it was such a nice treat for us because we weren't expecting it. It was so nice to be able to cook breakfast or dinner in the apartment because we got tired of eating out every day. The apartment also has a washer and this was a big plus because we were able to wash our clothes (and she has an iron & ironing board if you need it). The BIG PLUS was the location - it just doesn't get better than this. It is a few steps from the Pantheon (which is on the top list of things to see in Rome), and a few minutes away from the Trevi fountain. We actually never took a bus, got on a taxi or did a bus tour.....we basically walked everywhere. My husband is great with maps so he figured out where all the places were and we walked for countless of hours every day. We both loved the apartment and the location - we highly recommend it!!!! Thank you!!!

  Excellent location. Within 1/2 mile walk to all major sites. The stairs are a bit extreme, so be prepared. From the street, it is up 4 flights and each flight rises approximately 18 feet..... 109 steps from the street to the apartment door! It is the equivalent of walking up 8 floors in a typical USA apartment building. The suite is very, very quiet and it was much appreciated to get out of the hustle and bustle of Rome after a long day of seeing the sites. The shower is ridiculously small and the shower head does not stay put so you're constantly having to squirm around. We might stay again, but the stairs are a real negative.... And we're fit!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers.

The stairs are many, ok, it's true but the guests never been had problems, they know that we are in the center of Rome and the buildings are old (century 1700). The shower is small but standard, and small bathrooms allow you to have a large bedroom and a large living room. Obviously you are train but not as much as my usual guests Vincent and Irene (85 and 75 years) who rent the apartment every year for 15 days. thanks for coming and for your review, it was a pleasure to host you kindest regards antonella

  We really enjoyed our stay. The location is outstanding, right by the Pantheon and an easy walk to all major attractions in the central city. The apartment was clean and well-stocked. The terrace was a great place for breakfast. Very quite and comfortable.

  Great apartment, very cozy, clean and well maintained. Our kid loved the balcony and was running there first thing in the morning. You can reach main sites of the Rome without using a car or public transportation, Steps from Pantheon, under 20 minutes walk to Colosseum and about 1/2 hour walk to Vatican). I recommend it to everybody visiting in Rome.

  My wife, 15 month old, and myself were able to see all of the highlights of Rome in two days from this location. It was so close to everything. We were able to come back at noon for the baby to get a nap and then head back out. It is very spacious and the owner is very nice. The apartment is supplied nicely. There are some stairs to climb, but not a big deal as the view from the apartment is great. This is the best central location!

  The listing description and photos are very accurate and reflect the rental's appearance. It is clean and well maintained. Antonella is wonderful: she answered all our questions, was very nice. She left us some food supplies, which was very handy as we arrived late and did not have a chance to get it on our own. The property is in the middle of historic center of the city and very close to main attractions and plenty of good restaurants. You don't need any transportation to get around. We would recommend this property to anyone who is on the budget and in good physical shape as an apartment is on the top floor of very tall old building.

  We loved your well designed apartment, spacious enough for us, and quiet, a few steps to our favorite square in front of the Pantheon, and close to the other major attractions in Rome. The bed was firm, just as we like it. The terraces gives the apartment a spacious open feeling, even when we weren't using it. The bedroom can be closed off for privacy and quiet. The second bathroom gave us more privacy; the washing machine is excellent (takes 1 hour 15 minutes!). The independent heating system kept it comfortable in the colder weather of November. The art work in the living room and bed room by Antonella and her husband (both architects) is not only elegant but gives the apartment a personal touch. The small but clever kitchen was all we needed - stocked with milk and other food staples made our welcome complete. Antonella is responsive, helpful and charming; the apartment was immaculate. While the stairs were formidable, my husband, 81, and myself, 75, were well able to deal with them. We left in better shape than we arrived, and this well appointed apartment with its superb location made it worthwhile. Based on several trips to Rome, we found this apartment to be of excellent value.

  An excellent apartment located right next to the Pantheon (facing the Pantheon, go up the street to the right, turn right, and its practically next door to the café). Amazingly quiet at night with only the occasional quiet church bell to remind you where you are. The cute kitchen (it’s encased in a large cupboard) works well and there are sufficient pots pans, cooking utensils. Bathrooms very clean but the shower is a little small. Washer/dryer is easy to operate. Antonella, the owner, is extremely helpful and speaks fluent English. There are several grocery stores within a few blocks and Antonella can help you find them. Everywhere was within walking distance and you could not improve on the location. We gave it 5/5 stars!

  Our four nights in this apartment were wonderful. The location could not be better. The piazza by the Pantheon was our favorite spot in Rome, with the beautiful fountain, incredible Pantheon, restaurants, gelato shops and street musicians. It's close to Piazza Navona and walking distance (20-30 minutes) from the Vatican, the ancient city (coliseum, forum, etc.), the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Right in the middle of everything. The apartment is small but cozy with a nice outdoor terrace. It was fine for us and our 14- and 16-year old kids, but they had to share a sofa bed in the small living room, and there's only one shower (two toilets, washing machine). It is air conditioned, making for great siestas on a hot August day. Antonella was very helpful and friendly. She was there shortly after we called, and the apartment was stocked with pasta, espresso, beer, fresh fruit, milk and breakfast cereal. It was a short bus ride from the train station (we took bus 65, but Antonella can tell you other buses you can take) and a 8-euro taxi ride back to the station (cabs are waiting at Piazza Rotunda most hours of the day). To be fair, I could not review this apartment without mentioning that it is up four long flights of stairs. We're in good shape, so the climb did not bother us, but for less fit people it might be a problem.
