The main settlement of Utila, also known as East Harbor, has an old Key West laid-back feel and is comprised of French Colonial and English clapboard-style architecture and is home to a diverse population of primarily English-speaking people, many of which are direct descendants of the original Dutch, French, and English buccaneers of days gone past. Colorful gingerbread houses with their well-tended flower gardens line the harbor and back streets of Utila lending to it's timeless charm and character.
Each of the two independent and slightly off-set villas share a common deck and each villa consists of two air-conditioned bedrooms with Queen-size beds, large central bathroom, light and airy great room with panoramic ocean views, and a fully equipped open kitchen.

I am a 55 yr. old American physician married to a local girl, that has lived on Utila for over a decade, and we have a young son. We take pride in our properties and are responsive to any of our renters needs. Since we are local, we deal with our guests directly – from key exchanges, to cleaning, to repairs, and anything in between. All of our properties are fully furnished and have all the amenities of home! We do our utmost to make your tropical dreams come true.........

I want to tell you how we very much enjoyed our vacation in February to Utila. The accommodations were superb. Kurt and the staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. And the Island of Utila is worth the effort to get there. My family will definitely consider a return trip in the future.
