The "River's Edge" is an amazing 11 acre location. The house is situated right on the river. The best part of this place is the beach!!! There is also a firepit outside for smores. It accomodates two for a romantic getaway or a large group with rv's and tents. There is a large screened porch overlooking the river. It also has a ping pong table. The covered hot tub is large and very private. The house has 4 bedrooms all with King size pillow top beds. The master and the main level bedroom each have a 3/4 bath. The other two bedrooms and the bunk room share a 3/4 bath. The bunk room has 1 double, and two twins. The comfy leather couches in the great room have been known to sleep a couple of people as well. The kitchen is new and well stocked for cooking. There is a 60" LCD TV with satellite and a DVD player in the living room. The master bedroom has a 42" LCD TV player and comfortable seating to watch the river and read a book. There is a propane BBQ outside. There are several trails on the property that we have walked, dirtbiked and snowmobiled on. Please use at your own risk. Dogs are welcome outside and can sleep in the sunroom if they need to be inside. There is a Sno Park nearby as well as Fish Lake known for well... its fish. The location is close to Plain and the little hardware store as well as Lake Wenatchee with sledding, camping, horseback riding and golf. You are close to Stevens Pass and Leavenworth with its outdoor theater, food, shopping and many festivals. Please respect the owners privacy when the calendar show its available.

- So much to do here. This is an 11 acre private site with some dirt trails. This site can accomodate some camping or trailers as well that can be added to the reservation. You can raft or tube from this site depending on the time of year at your own risk. Close to Stevens Pass, Lake Wenatchee, Fish Lake, all the festivals in Leavenworth and right on the River's Edge!

Weekdays $295, weekends $350, 2 night minimum rate for 2 people Holiday/festival rate $375 3 night minimum rate for 2 people $10 extra per person/child beyond the first 2 people for each night $125 cleaning fee for 7 or less people; $150 for more Sales/lodging tax is 10.1%. $300 damage deposit that is refundable if no damage. This house is amazing. The river is literally steps from the porch with great views from most rooms in the house. The open layout of the house is perfect for hanging or spreading out. We had a fairly large group (10 adults and 2 toddlers) and had plenty of room to sleep, eat and play. The kitchen and dining area is big and open with lots of counter space and a dining table that comfortably sat all of us (kids included). The upstairs master is roughly the size of most city apartments with it's own hang out space. I can't say enough about how conveniently located this house is. It feels secluded and private but is mere miles from Lake Wenatchee State Park, and about a 30 minute drive to Steven's Pass. We had a fabulous time playing in the snow, but are definitely looking forward to returning to the River's Edge in the Summer to fully enjoy the lake and river. Can't wait!

The "Rivers Edge" was the perfect getaway for us! My husband and I joined 3 other couples for a fun weekend of snowshoeing, sledding, games, home-cooked dinners and a day of fun in Leavenworth! The house was BIG and the beds were comfy! The kitchen was spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed and MORE! The view was beautiful, especially from the hot-tub! You truly feel tucked away! The house was clean and well taken care of! Everything was functioning and ready for us upon arrival! We can't wait to go back and try it in the summer:-)

This property and home is amazing, and spacious enough for a large and active group. However, the owner somehow double-booked the place during Oktoberfest, for a group of 11 and a group of 18! Luckily, they were able to find alternative housing for the other group. Unfortunately for us, there was a broken/leaking toilet, meaning for 11 people we were down to two functioning pottys. Otherwise the property was well maintained. Know that you should bring your own paper towels, cooking spices and oil.
Owner response:The property and home is amazing. I was new to VRBO when you booked and innundated with bookings. Somehow I didn't get your booking into the system. Thankful that the new VRBO booking system allows for payments through it and it reserves the property automatically for me. I did feel very fortunate (thanks to my team in Leavenworth) to have the other group checked in to a lodge within an hour on Ocktoberfest weekend. The toilet was fixed promptly once I was made aware of it. We try to keep everything well maintained. There should be papertowels as there's a holder on the counter and extra rolls in the pantry. Sorry for any inconvenience with the potty and the double booking.

Wow. I just hosted a group of old friends at the Rivers Edge. My guests were in awe at how spacious, comfortable, and beautiful this riverside retreat is. They were scheming future future family reunions, and future get togethers with friends. We cooked up a storm of good food, good conversation, renewing old friendships, and getting to know new friends. The only other home in sight is across the river. We awakened to beautiful fall colors reflecting into the Wenatchee River, the brush of fresh snow on Entiat Ridge, deer fording the river.. a true retreat. The house is very well equipped, beautiful quilts on the beds which were very comfortable, lots of parking. The outdoor area faces the river and the hot tub is absolutely huge. The only downside was that there is no bathroom off of a hallway-- you have to tippy toe past sleeping people to get to the bathrooms, which was a little awkward when some were sleeping and others were still up visiting. But my guests were gracious about this and it worked out. I would definitely rent this house again and just had a weekend with dear old friends that I hope I remember forever. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home.

Our family of 4 stayed for 3 nights in July. The place was just perfect. Very clean and everything we needed was provided. The master suite was fabulous. The kids slept in the bunk room, which gave them their own spaces to sleep, but someone else in room with them. All the furniture was top quality - no "vacation cabin hand-me-downs" here. The screened-in porch was my favorite - made the family eat every meal out there and we loved the ping pong table. Enjoyed ourselves so much we've already booked again.
