  We had a fantastic stay at Muir Beach. The house was bright and cheerful with lots of fresh air! Also extremely clean and within walking distance of a pub/restaurant. Such a great location! We look forward to returning.

  This house is lovely. Our family of 5 (3 kids: 11,9 & 6) stayed at The Pearl and loved every moment of it. The house is exceptionally clean and well stocked with towels, bed linens and all the essential items needed when traveling. The beach is just a short walk away from the front door and very family friendly. The proximity to Muir Woods and San Francisco can't be beat. I would highly recommend The Pearl and have passed the information on to several friends and family members. Our deposit was returned immediately and Angie was a pleasure to work with. She answered emails and text messages immediately. Thank you again for allowing our family to rent your lovely home. Peace be the journey.

  We spent a long weekend at this beach house and had an excellent time. The location is fantastic - just a very short walk to the beach and hiking trails. Five minutes drive to Muir Woods and a great English pub at the end of the street. The beach house is beautifully updated and very comfortable. A great place to relax, even if it is cold and stormy outside! We will definitely be returning to this house.

  I stayed at the Muir Beach cottage over a long weekend with my wife and toddler. The owners were very helpful and proactive with our stay. Communication was clear and friendly. With regards to the actual cottage itself, it was very well put together without feeling contrived. It had new amenities yet a bit of old charm. I wouldn't describe it as "luxury" but it also didn't feel like I was staying at a cabin either. It was exceptionally clean and all the things you wanted to be "new" (eg. bathrooms and kitchen) were. The biggest thing it has going for it is the location. It is the second cottage from the parking lot/access area of Muir Beach itself, a gorgeous little beach in this part of the world. Also, access to Muir Woods is just a short drive. It would be easy to spend a week here just reveling in Bay Area nature. I would definitely recommend the cottage if you're looking for relative seclusion close to SF.

  My family and I had an excellent stay at Muir Beach's Pearl. The home is very clean, and open...no dark corners for dust and spiders to hide. I am very particular where I stay, and fell in love with how comfortable, clean, and kept up the Pearl is. During our stay we visited Muir Woods, Stinson Beach, Drakes Beach in Point Reyes, down town SF, Mill Town and took in a horse back trail ride in Olema. All areas are within a short drive, with Drakes Beach taking the longest at about an hour. Muir Beach is steps from the front door which made seeing the sunset very easy. Drinking my morning coffee on the side porch listening to the waves and seeing the ocean was a great start to the day. My only suggestion (and some would call me crazy) would be having TV’s in the bedrooms. Thank you so much Angie for such a wonderful stay. We will for sure come back during the summer.

  We absolutely loved our stay at "Pearl". Not only was it clean, well equipped, and a perfect location; the owners were more than helpful supplying us with information on the home, the nearby sites, hikes - the whole nine yards! The kitchen was open, spacious, and just the right setting for our visit providing ample room for cooking, visiting and sitting by the wood stove. Next time we plan to take advantage of the beach "toys" and try surfing and spending time in the water. Fun for the whole family!

  Hands down one of the best places I've ever found to stay at. The owners were prompt with returning calls which was very helpful because we were part of a large wedding party. The house was in perfect condition. Clean and well maintained by the owners. It is spacious with a lot of natural light and has a nice little backyard. The Pelican inn (a great wedding location) is only a 5 minute walk. The house was also only a 5 minute walk to the beach. It completely surpassed my expectations and we look forward to returning.

  WE found this charming little beach house to be better than we expected. It was very clean, cozy and comfortable. We will certainly stay here again on any return trips to central coast California. Very quick return of our deposit.

  Amazing house amazing location! Me and some friends were there for a wedding at the pelican and I couldn't have asked for a better place! I rent alot and this might have been the best place I have ever landed!

  Thanks to Angie and family for such a lovely stay at the Beach House. The house is very well located. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the City and loads of charm. The proximity to Muir Beach is awesome; loved taking my coffee out to the front deck and sipping while enjoying the ocean view and sounds of the surf hitting the beach. The house is well stocked and equipped; I lacked for nothing while there. The only drawback to the location is trying to get some grocery shopping done at the end of a 10 hour trip -- there are no stores located within the vicinity -- would be great if guests could arrange a pre delivery of groceries. All the techie tools were there wifi in place, Direct TV and plenty of outlets for charging many devices! Rooms were all well appointed and decorated in a lovely beachy feel. Loved the soft beach glass colour on the walls. Bed was comfy, pillows just a little to soft for my taste. Take advantage of the Muir Woods National Monument while staying here -- the Redwoods are MAJESTIC!!! A lovely stay in all, would happily recommend to friends and family -- I think I may have one referral already! Thanks again!
