  We had a wonderful family vacation at this condo for the kids April vacation. The condo was lovely and had everything we could need. It may have been an atypical week for school vacation b/c we practically had the pool and beach to ourselves - which was fine with us. When we wanted to see people we would walk 5 min down the beach to the hotel part and enjoy the amenities over there. We spent so much time out on the deck overlooking the beach - so beautiful to watch the sunrise and sunsets. Angela,the owner, was fabulous - we had a small problem with the dishwasher and she had it taken care of right away and she really went above and beyond helping me with a few other things. The grounds are beautiful and clean and we found the resort to be an ideal location - near the rainforest and beautiful Luquillo Beach and a 40 min drive to San Juan. Other than that we were content to spend the rest of our vacation on the pristine beach or poolside!

  Angela the owner was fantastic to work with and her villa was all that was advertised ... and then some. Clean, comfortable accommodations with two decks overlooking the pools and the beach. Was perfectly located within the grounds and a lot more comfortable than staying at a hotel. Very much enjoyed our vacation.

  I can not offer a reflection on the villa but I can attest to the character of the owners. We had a vacation scheduled for early November but had to cancel just a few days before our arrival due to hurricane Sandy. We sustained power outages and home damage that prevented us from going on our long awaited trip. We were very concerned about losing our deposit but Angela returned the full amount and sent several e-mails inquiring about our safety. She did not have to reimburse us but since it was an emergency, she thought it the only right and fair thing to do. Thank you Angela. I hope to reschedule in Spring. Your villa does look beautiful.

  We just returned from a great week of vacation. Let me say that we have been traveling for over twenty years and this was one of our best vacations ever. I am a timeshare owner and have travelled throughout the Carribean and Mexico on exchanges so this was my first time renting from owner. Angela couldnt have been more patient and prompt in answering all my questions. As for the villa it has everything you need for a great stay. There are more than enough beach towels as well as boogie boards and snorkle equipment. The washer and dryer were great in keeping our beach towels fresh. There are two great pools for guests of the villas and the week we were there it was truely our own private resort. The Wyndham Rio Mar is next door so you can take advantage of their pools and restaurants and activities. But for me and my family sun and relaxation is what we hope for, well we got just what we wanted. The kitchen is a bit small but so well stocked and the appliances all worked fine. Again I cannot thank Angela enough and we cannot wait for a return visit.

  We were nervous going to Puerto Rico for the first time and not knowing what to expect for both the place we booked and also the island in general-we had been to Jamaica before and hated it. We travel extensively (almost all domestic) and let me tell you we had the best time we have had in years. Not only is the condo exactly as described but there was harldy anyone there! We expected it to be packed-the hotel was, but not the condos. Great pool and even a concierge to help you book trips. We would come down and book this condo again in a heartbeat.....

  Great Villa in a great location! The pictures on the website are great and when when arrived, even though the pictures, the listing of amenities and description are accurate, it all exceeded my expectations. The unit was clean an well maintained. And what a view out from the two balconies. The villa is located in Rio Grande which allows easy access to San Juan, El Yunque and Fajardo. In addition, you can take advantage of the amenities at the nearby Wyndham. The beach is has very nice sand and palms and the depth of the ocean increases gradually so it is very family friendly. The owner Angela, offered great suggestions on excursions,dining, buying groceries. For those that do not speak Spanish, the guards at this gated community speak english. For great Puerto Rican food, try El Verde on Route 3. You won't be disappointed. Richie's has a nice view but the food is expensive and mediocre. I have travelled to Puerto Rico several times and this location has the best of all worlds.

  Our family of 5 spent 10 days at condo #8196/97 June 18 - June 28. The location of the condo could not have been better. We were concidering staying in a golf course condo to save money but we are so happy that we chose not to. I could wake up in bed each morning and look out over the pool and see the waves crashing as the sun was coming up. We took long walks on the beach almost every morning. A few time we also walked around the large resort. The 2 private pools were the perfect temperature and since and there were always plenty of chairs and it was usually very quiet. They had showers at the pool so that you could wash off after being at the beach. We used the boogie boards that were provided in the condo and had a blast. We also made some fun sandcastles with the sand toys that were there. We walked over to the resort a few times and were so thankful that we were not dealing with the crowd. The connoisseurs at the resort were very helpful, the sandwiches in the coffee shop were good and the food at the golf course clubhouse was good. Other than that we did not spend any time at the resort. There was plenty of space in the condo for 5 people. We used the airbed provided instead of the sofa bed for the 5th person so that we were able to keep the sofa to sit on. 2 bathrooms were great for getting everyone ready at the same time. We are from NW Washington so having a cool shower was not what we expected but it actually worked OK. We are also not use to the random bugs that go along with living in a tropical place but we got use to that too. This is a great condo, in a great location - close to rainforest and Fajardo(Bio Bay tours) and about 45 minutes to Old San Juan. Our big adventures were hang gliding with Team Spirit and a Biobay dinner criuse with East Island Excursions. Other than that we went hiking at El Yunque, drove to Ponce and Cagua, spent an afternoon touring El Morro and playing at the beach and the pool. Angela was great to deal with. She was prompt at answering my emails and the rental process was handled professionally. We had a great time and I would recommend this condo to anyone who wants to be close to everything yet have the privacy of a nice quiet oceanfront condo with quiet pools.

  This was our first visit to Puerto Rico. We were looking for a place that was safe (because we were bringing teens) and a place that was close to the sites we wanted to see. This was the perfect place! We feel so fortunate to have found this property! We wanted to be on the beach. This beautiful villa is ON the beach! The views are even better than the online pictures. One of the best surprises of this condo is that although it is within a few steps of all the action of the main hotel, it is quite private. We could lie out on the beach all day completely by ourselves, yet it was just a short walk to the main Rio Mar hotel for wonderful dining, dancing, and casino activities. We loved the fact that the rain forest was only10 minutes down the road. We were also close to the bioluminescent bay, horseback riding, and shopping. There were many local restaurants close by, but our favorite meal on the Rio Mar property was at the country club. It was a perfectly prepared meal! We also spent a day in Old San Juan. We were happy to be only about 30 -40 minutes from the history of the island. We hope to visit Puerto Rico again soon. There is still so much more for us to see! And when we do come back, we will definitely stay here. Angela was the perfect hostess. The villa was everything she said it would be and more! She responded to our emails quickly and she made the check in process super easy! It truly exceeded our expectations!
