  My wife and I have stayed at many VRBO locations around the nation, but every once in awhile you come across a particular gem and that is exactly what we found in this gorgeous harbor side condo. If you're going to visit the Charlevoix/Petoskey area and are looking for a home base to return to at the end of the day, this is it! Beautifully decorated, and absolutely clean throughout, the condo was well appointed with every amenity you could desire. The screened in porch overlooking the harbor affords you your own private window to the world. There were four of us on this journey and with each couple having their own suite and bath, it was perfect for hanging together or resting privately. Park the car in the assigned spot in the garage downstairs and simply walk to all of the shops and restaurants. The harbor, the Mushroom Homes and even the nearby hotels are all walking distance if you happen to have family in town for a wedding like we did. It is only a 3 mile jaunt to the famous Castle Farms Wedding facility. Our host Kristen was most accommodating throughout the booking process, our stay and with our follow-up questions regarding re-booking, which we will certainly be doing!! Just an absolutely lovely condominium.

  The stay at this condo was a dream. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we had an amazing time. It is beautifully decorated, there is plenty of room for a group of people and it is just like being at home with all the amenities. No need to bring linens or dishes, etc. like in other rentals I have stayed at - - you just arrive and enjoy. The location is ideal being located right downtown next to restaurants and shopping yet you overlook the marina. The view in the morning is breathtaking. There is a garage for covered parking, very convenient for a winter stay. I highly recommend this property for your next getaway.

  My wife and I came into town for a wedding at Castle Farms in Charlevoix for a weekend in November. We left our 2 year old at home for this trip, but were very surprised when we arrived to the condo to see we would have easily been able to bring both my son AND his grandparents to watch him! The place is much larger than we imagined, and had every amenity we could have thought of. And with the indoor parking and the location in right downtown Charlevoix it is simply perfect. We missed our little guy.. but it was also very nice for the two of us to be able to relax and enjoy a couple of days in this cool little town. The weather was surprisingly warm for this time of year so we were able to get out and walk along the lake and downtown through all of the shops. If you have never been here, you will not believe how clear the water is.. it really looks like the Caribbean! Just out the door there was a ferry that you could take out to an island on Lake Michigan - Beaver Island. We didn't go, but it is something we may try in the future. Everyone in this town seemed overly friendly, and I really don't think we met one person in a bad mood the whole trip! It was refreshing. Also - we were able to sit out on the patio deck one morning and drink our coffee. It was a little cold for us, but it was so great to breathe the fresh air and watch the activity around the lake. I can't imagine how great this must be in the summer! But I do plan to find out when we return next summer. I decided to write this review because I always read them when I get serious about renting on VRBO. This is one of those places that will leave a great taste in your mouth! We highly recommend this condo and expect anyone who stays here will be very happy they did. Can't wait to go back.
