Private Homes, Historical Downtown condo description
Casa de Panorama (The House of Many Views) invites you to partake of the magic that is Santa Fe.
From the comfort of two luxurious, air-conditioned 'Sunrise' and 'Sunset' masterbedroom suites, revel in the color and light for which Santa Fe is famous. Or go aloft to your private, roof-top lounge/deck with its 300 degree view of Santa-Fe's ring-of-mountains setting. From here --perhaps with margarita's in hand?-- you can experience first hand the essence of our Southwest Native cultures --the spiritual and sensuous union of Father Sky and Mother Earth.
To be specific, Casa de Panorama is a multi-level, 1600 sq ', 2 bedroom/3 bath, quality condo in an intimate complex 5 blocks from the Plaza.
From the moment you cross the massive fitted flagstones and enter the double-french-doors, you know this place was designed for gracious living. The high beam ceilings and open plan lend a spacious, airy feeling. The living area --with leather sleeper sofa, handmade Mexican arm chairs and museum quality paintings --invites delightful and meaningful conversation.
Create your own haut-cuisine in the state-of-the-art stainless kitchen. Or simply order from one of Santa Fe's many acclaimed restaurants and indulge in quiet dining amidst native art and artifacts. The flagstone patio with umbrella table, chairs and grill is right off the kitchen. A full powder room as well as immediate access to your private car-port (cool in the summer and snow-sheltered in the winter) completes this floor level.
Up the bamboo staircase, the second level contains the two spacious air-conditioned master bedroom suites. The Sunrise Suite -- with long views to the east -- has a south-facing balcony with circular staircase to the roof-top deck/lounge. Its travertine-tiled, spa-inspired bath has a steam sauna/shower, double sinks and towel warmers. The Sunset Suite --with long views to the west-- is prepared with your choice of a king-or-two-twin beds. Its travertine tiled bath has a Jacuzzi-style tub-shower, double sinks and towel warmers.
The home's location close to the Plaza means fine galleries, museums, shops and restaurants are close at hand. Also close by are the 10,000 Waves Japanese Spa, hiking trail heads, and the Santa Fe Ski-Basin.
In short, Casa de Panorama offers not only expansive views of our Great Southwest, but also immediate access to Santa Fe's world-famous, vibrant cultural life.
But just for the record......partaking of the magic is up to you!

Wonderful condo and beautiful spot in Santa Fe!
Wonderful condo and beautiful spot in Santa Fe!
Two couples from Va. had a delightful stay at this beautiful condo. It was a warm decor, upscale appliances and baths, and a comfortable walk to all the historical sites and shopping downtown. We also enjoyed the outside patios! It is a place we would definitely revisit! We have used VRBO for over a decade and have never had a personal visit from the rental office with personal and helpful tidbits regarding the area. Thank you Christa! A very memorable vacation!

Very Upscale Condo!
Very Upscale Condo!
We stayed here for almost a week for our son's wedding in Santa Fe. The condo was very comfortable with 2 large bedrooms and 2 luxurious baths on the second floor and a full bath on the 1st floor. The kitchen was easy to use (mostly we had breakfast and sometimes lunches there). The rooftop patio and the ground level patio were great! Parking was easy. The downhill walk to the plaza was easy, though the return trip was a little more challenging. The condo is a quick ride in the car to the Ten Thousand Waves Spa. Everyone who visited us at the condo envied our digs!

This “casa” was simply charming. It is in a great location. We thoroughly enjoyed going to the roof top where the view is spectacular for the sunset. This place is comfortable with all the amenities needed. Most of all, Noel comes to greet you and does such a thorough walk through including a booklet with any and all information to make your stay even better from restaurants to understanding Southwestern cuisine and their coveted chilies. It was a truly wonderful experience.

We loved this place. It was very well appointed (very nice furniture, modern appliances, large spacious bedrooms), very comfortable, and generally quiet (with the exception of some modest street noise). The location was perfect, as it was within easy walking distance to the square and other great shops and restaurants. We found it extremely relaxing. Some places nickle and dime their guests by making guests buy their own general supplies (coffee filter, trash bags, soap, laundry detergent, etc). Not the case here. Noel was great at orienting us to the place (the home and Santa Fe), which really helped us use our time wisely. A visit to 10,000 Waves Spa (about a 10 minute drive away) is a must!

This condo is truly beautiful. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and the master has a Mr. Steam! We really enjoyed watching the sunset from the rooftop balcony. A lovely vista in all directions. And in the mornings we had on breakfast on the downstairs patio. We were able to walk to town and found a nice running route right out the front door. Great location. The manager took her time with us and gave us lots of information on dining, shopping and sightseeing. Also they have organized a binder with lots of helpful info on Santa Fe. We would definitely stay here again

The absolute best of our stay in Santa Fe was our accomodations!! The rooftop patio was a great place for evening cocktails and the view was incomparable. The plaza was just a short downhill walk and the return trip was needed exercise as we were stuffed as a relleno. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms were lux. And although we used the kitchen solely for coffee and cookies (mexican wedding cookies from Cafe Pasquals) it was large and stocked. We arranged for an earlier check in and were greeted most graciously with our request. The house also provided a large driveway for our big truck (3 girls can create a bunch of luggage) and the dutch door back entry was a unanimous favorite. The house was a huge hit with all the other out of town wedding guests who were not as fortunate to have discovered such a gem as us. And let's just say the economics of it were very friendly!! I would definitely suggest this hilltop hideaway to anyone headed in a New Mexican direction.
