Super White Water Rafting
Our family stayed at Hidden Hills Cabin and had a Great Time. We went white water rafting (Endless River Adventures). This is the best place - supplied jackets, helmets, wet weather gear for $20/pp. Everyone was very polite and a joy to be around. Must see the Appalachian Trail, Sylva (old town feel), and if you're here on Fridays or Saturdays, downtown Cherokee has bonfiire and story telling by Native American. Enjoy!

Manager response: We're happy you had an enjoyable getaway and do hope you get the opportunity to come again. Next time, maybe you can try your luck at the casino in nearby Cherokee. Plan ahead for your summer vacation to experiencing some of the many exciting outdoor activities the area has to offer.
This cabin was very clean and well maintained. We liked the quietness, and convenience of being close to so many other cities with fun activities (Asheville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sylva, Bryson City, Cherokee, Dillsboro). Kinda in the middle of everything. Loved the hot tub. We had a nice, quiet time together at the cabin. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable experience that we will definitely recommend to our friends and other family members.

Manager response: Thank you for your kind words about our cabin and we do hope you will be able to enjoy another happy time there in the future. Try the good food and dessert at Kostas in Dillsboro and look through some of the great shops there or take a scenic ride on the Smoky Mountain Railroad in Bryson City and see the railroad museum there, as well. We're glad you had a comfortable stay.
Perfect place to relax
Perfect place to relax
This cabin is exactly as presented on the website. The interior was absolutely spotless, it's very roomy and can easily sleep 4 adults + 2 kids (we were 2 adults, one 7 yr old & 1 dog). We loved that there were no extra fees to take our dog. The driveway is steep, but very manageable - it adds to the remoteness of the cabin which we appreciated. When you were on the deck it was as if you had your own private forest, you don't see another house or hear anything. We enjoyed the hot tub, the outdoor table & loungers. We spent one day up in the Smokies (Andrew's Bald hike) and one day in the Pisgah National Forest (Turkey Pen hike). We were a little too early for the fall leaves, but it was still gorgeous. We definitely plan on going back & want to try the summer for some white water rafting!

Manager response: We are absolutely delighted you and your family had such an enjoyable experience at our mountain getaway. It gave us big smiles, and we hope you will have another opportunity to visit Hidden Hills Cabin to try even more fun adventures in the area on your next trip to the Smoky Mountains. If you're there on a Thursday night, you should try the prime rib special at Speedy's Pizza in Sylva. So good. There's also the thrill ride on the Jet Boats right outside of Bryson City. Prepare to get wet. It's a great summer ride. For some really good food, The Brio at the Cherokee Casino is fabulous. Lots of good places to eat and super outings very close by. We look forward to having you stay with us again.
Absolutely beautiful cabin. Exceeded expectations.
Absolutely beautiful cabin. Exceeded expectations.
This cabin was perfect for me and my girlfriend and another couple. It has 2 master suites, one on the second floor and one on the main floor, so we had our each had our own full bathroom. It was clean and updated and decorated very tastefully. The wrap around deck was perfect for our rainy Saturday and we enjoyed dinner sitting around the table out there. The hot tub was nice and relaxing and clean. The location was quiet and far enough away, but close enough to everything you want/need in Bryson City and Cherokee. They keep the place well stocked with everything you could need. We will definitely be back.

Amazing WeekGuest comment entered by manager
Wow! What an amazing week. We have enjoyed every minute of our stay. We spent time riding our bikes with our dogs on the river, saw breathtaking falls, hiked, ate at some amazing local restaurants, grilled, slept in, visited the breweries. I wish we could stay awhile longer there is so much we would still love to do. And, I am excited about coming back to do more things. Thank you so much for sharing this piece of heaven with us.

Great Family Memories
Our family stayed at the Hidden Hills Cabin from Saturday, July 20-27. We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed every minute. We went on a few long hikes in the park including: Deep Creek, The Goldmine Loop (Road to Nowhere, that gave spectacular echo), Alum Cave Bluffs (our favorite) and a late afternoon hike Oconaluftee Visitor Center. We went jet boating, rafting, and rode the Dinosaur Train at the Great Smokey Mountain Railroad. We are sad to leave but made memories to last a lifetime. Thank you for sharing the cabin - a true hidden treasure. Back to Florida for now.

Celebrated birthday in the mountain cabin. Had a wonderful relaxing time. My husband and I were very comfortable there, almost like home. It was just what we needed to get away from the daily rat race and have some "together" time. We can't wait to go back! I love the way each room is decorated and everything you could possibly need is provided for you. We WILL be going back!!

Year Purchased: 2008
About: We are retired, Dan from the United States Navy, and Mary from the Department of Justice. We're enjoying ourselves by occasional stays in our cabin, traveling the country in our 5th wheel camper, visiting family and friends and seeing the sights around the USA.
Dan and I bought the land on which to build this cabin in 2008. We began building about one year later. Over the next three years, we were there just about every free weekend and holiday to put together the dream of our vacation cabin in the mountains. We received our Certificate of Occupancy in April of 2012, almost exactly three years from the time we started to build. Needless to say, we were very proud of Hidden Hills Cabin. After the foundation was poured by professionals, along with an HVAC/plumbing company and a friend who is very experienced in construction work and a hard worker who came when we needed him, we did the rest of the work ourselves. It was an exciting goal, and we are very happy with how everything turned out. Whenever we look at it, we shake our heads in wonder.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Our favorite part of this cabin is its quiet and secluded location but still close to whatever we need. Beautiful colors during leaf season. Close to water activities, restaurants, Smoky Mountain Railroad, Smoky Mountain National Park, and many other attractions. Very relaxing to sit on the porch and look out over the mountain views.
