Two bedroom 2 1/2 bath beach house on beach front with bamboo flooring throughout. The kitchen has granite countertops and is fully stocked including dishwasher and microwave. The first floor has the kitchen, dining and living area as well as a half bath. Satellite tv. The living room has a hide away twin bed.
The upstairs has two bedrooms each with ensuite bath. The master has a queen memory foam mattress and a twin pull out bed. The second bath has two twins and also a pull out twin. This bath also has a washer/dryer.
There is also a deck on this level.

About the owner: After Hurricane Claudette destroyed the home we had as children in 2003 my family and I rebuilt this home. Tommy and I were married on the lower deck in 2005 and lived in the home for two years after opening Spoonbills, the restaurant, in Matagorda.
Why the Owner Chose Matagorda:
My family has had this property for more than 50 years. Matagorda beach holds some of my favorite childhood memories. It is a quiet beach where you can drive for 21 miles and sometimes never see another person.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
There is nothing better than waking up to see the waves rolling onto the beach. The upper deck is the perfect place for that morning cup of coffee with sunrise or even better a cold drink to enjoy sunset.
