The Secret Beach Villas are a “Landmark” in the Mayan Riviera; the numerous Cupula ceilings and a double Cupula in the foyer are architecturally dramatic. The Mexican design style of the villas make you feel as though you walked into an authentic Mexican Home with the Spanish design style that the newer villas just are not built like anymore.

The Beach at Play del Secreto has white sand and the water is turquoise and clear, it is a wonderful beach for walking. If you are tired of hurrying in the morning to get a choice spot on the beach before there all taken, or wearied of the beach hustlers, this place is for you. When you get exhausted from all that serenity you can get in the car and drive 15 minutes to all the fine dining, night clubbing, shopping and people watching that the Mayan Riviera has to offer.

The Secret Beach Villa is a 4 bedroom - 5 bath home is located in a very small private residential area of only a dozen or so villas all very up-scale. It is a quite, safe and peaceful community.

4 Bedrooms (sleeps 8 Adults – no more than 10 people allowed)

1st Master Bedroom – ocean view - w/King bed, bathroom with sunken tub/shower, TV & private balcony
2nd Master Bedroom – ocean view - w/ King bed, bathroom with walk-in shower & private balcony
3rd Bedroom – Cenote (pond)/ Garden View - w/ King bed, bathroom with walk-in shower & private balcony
4th Bedroom – Garden View - w/ 2 twin beds (can be made into a king) & bathroom with walk-in shower
Sleeper Sofa (Queen Size) in large upstairs foyer area outside the bedrooms.

The Secret Beach Villa is actually three identical villas - part of a three villa building. Each villa has its own separate pool with privacy wall and because of their size (2800 sq. ft.) and layout is very private from each other. You can rent one or two or all three villas if you have a bigger group of up to 28 people.

The Secret Beach Villas have long been a favorite of the Mayan Riviera, and for some good reasons:

• 1st We have been renting our villas for 12 years as a 'Business", we have everything you need from an on-site property manager, to extras like Central A/C, Wi-Fi, Free Phone Calls anywhere (vonage), USA satellite TV (80+ channels) just like back home in English, so you won't miss the next Survivor or CSI episodes. You would be hard pressed to think of amenities that we don’t have in the villas. We have extensive list of activities to offer you as well as maps to local shopping and restaurant suggestions. • 2nd - Thing out of every guest mouth when they arrive is that the villa it is more beautiful than even the pictures show it, the turquoise waters of the Caribbean is 30 feet from the back door, so you always have a great view. We furnished our villas with real living room furniture, in our villas we want you to feel like your home.

• 3rd - The villa owner is a professional chef and restaurant owner and will cook your food with the "Sazon y Sentimiento" (Taste and Feeling) of Mexico, for the "foodies on vacation" you can schedule an afternoon private Mayan or Mexican Cuisine Cooking Class with Chef Miguel.

• 4th - The Mayan Rivera is a superb golf destination. Top golf course designers have built some outstanding golf courses; both the PGA and the Canadian PGA both have annual tournaments here. The Secret Beach Villas are as close as Five to Twenty-Five minutes from these championship golf courses.

• 5th - Unlike many villas in the Playa del Carmen area we are ONSITE OWNERS whom manage their own vacation home, this is not a vacation home we see once in a while - we live here so we are aware of our staff, and maintenance issues are addressed in a timely manner. We live in a separate apartment 300 feet in back of the villa (at the entrance of the driveway away from the beach.) We believe that the villas are your home while you are here. Keeping that in mind, we respect your privacy above all. However, if you need us we are steps away.
