Located ten to fifteen minutes from both North and South Shore Beaches and trails, swimming, snorkeling, and hiking opportunities abound. A variety of restaurants, shops, and bars are less than half mile away in Coral Bay, and the bustling nightlife and shopping of downtown Cruz Bay can be reached in 25 minutes. New Moon, a cottage also on the property, can be rented additionally for larger parties.

4 night minimum. Rates for 2 people. Extra persons $25/night. A check
for 50% of rental fee due upon booking. Balance due 30 days before arrival.
For cancellations made 60 or more days prior to your scheduled arrival date,
a full refund less a cancellation fee of 20% of the cost of your entire reserved
stay, will be returned to you. No refunds are offered for cancellations within 60
days prior to your scheduled arrival date unless we are able to re-rent the
property for all of your reserved dates.

Why the Owner Chose Coral Bay
St. John is a wonderful island with so much to offer (including a U.S. national park and national marine sanctuary!). Being *water people* we love the snorkeling and diving all around us. Sailing in the Virgin Islands is also great - we enjoy day sails and overnight trips all over the US and British Virgin Islands from Coral Bay. And hiking in the national park is beautiful - the Johnny Horn trail is within walking distance of our house.

We (the owners Tim & Jane) finished building Just Enough in 2004. The lot was hand cleared in order to retain as much natural vegetation as possible. In addition to building the entire house himself, owner/cabinetmaker Tim handbuilt all of the beautiful mahogany cabinets, as well as the unique coffee table and side tables throughout the house. While we love St John (and Coral Bay in particular) we decided to go cruising in our sailboat to check out other parts of the world. Until we return, we hope you will enjoy staying at our home and exploring the island of St. John!

We stayed at Just Enough for a week in early June for our wedding. It was very secluded, and very nice. Extraordinarily clean and the caretakers were great to work with. As it was just a few minutes drive out of Coral Bay, we were able to enjoy the local establishments and explore the east end with ease. I have stayed at other villas on St. John, and I found this to be very nice and very economical. We definately will stay again. Thanks for making our wedding and honeymoon so nice!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Just wanted to clarify the previous review that states we do not have windows -- there are windows throughout the house, but they are screened (rather than glass) to allow for the tropical breezes to pass through.

The property was just as advertised. It was clean and well maintained. The water is collected from rainfall so make sure you get some bottled water at the local grocery. Love City grocery is the best, it's amazing how much they pack in the place. Make sure you rent a jeep like we did, because the dirt road to the house is a rough ride (but nothing like the cut through between RT10 & 20 that goes to the Catherineberg Sugar Ruins). It's about 50 or so steps down to the cottage, I'm in pretty good shape for 45 and it would still get my heart pumping in the mornings. The views from the deck are wonderful (day and night). Every morning dozens of "banakeets" visit if you leave a little sugar on a plate. If you look closely you can see the hummingbirds. After a couple of days, the barakeets would hang out on the hammock with me in the afternoon. The stars at night are amazing. You could hear the bands at the Blues club in Coral Bay, but they seemed to shut down at 11 or 11:30 PM. Cathy's assistant was waiting for us at the ferry and took us to the jeep rental (Paris). The cottage location is great for exploring the island, we hit many beaches, and highly recommend Salt Pond (good beach and snorkling), Haulover (Rocky beach best snorkling), and Trunk (beautiful beach with good snorkling trail for the inexperienced). Stop at the Tourist Trap on your way back from Salt Pond, get a "Drink right drive left" from the owner, he invented them (according to multiple sources). The Shipwreck Resturaunt is also on this road for a nice dinner. Donkey Diner for breakfast (Don't stop on the road to look at the donkeys unless you want to be surrounded by them, they are pretty cool). Things are expensive on St John, except the Rum, but hey you're on vacation. My wife and I had a great time.

We stayed at Just Enough for our honeymoon - the spot was ideal - total seclusion from the outside world. The house overlooks Coral Bay and there are 180o views of it. Its ideally situated for getting to any part of the island - especially Maho Beach which is amazing. We loved cooking on the grill on the deck and watching the stars for hours at night. We've never seen so many stars at one time! There are steps down to the property but you get used to them and they only caused a problem when it came to leaving and getting our luggage back up them. There are no windows but if you like waking up to a gentle breeze then its fine. Overall, we loved our holiday here and would definately return.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.
