We arrived Sunday afternoon to a beautiful two bedroom duplex complete with all the works. It has a quality hot tub, cable in tv the master bedroom and living room with newer flat screen televisions, not the box style shown in the photos. It was really clean and came with everything we needed from toilet paper to garbage bags, you need only bring food and yourself. It has good wireless internet and it right on the dock of one of the Duck Key Channels which is full of fish. We were about an hour from Key West South and Key Largo North. However, Marathon has tons of nice restaurants and beautiful scenery. The night life is more in Key West, but other than that anything you can ask for is only about a 15 minute ride. The duplex is located next to or basically in the Hawks Kay Resort which can all be accessed including the shuttle. Though in order to buy drinks you have to have a room key :( If you are on a budget and need a great place to stay you can beat this location! Cecelia is great to work with is extremely nice. So is her son Neal. Two thumbs up!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
