Our property is perfectly located on this 13-mile long, two-and-one-half mile wide island. As mentioned above, it is a very short walk to the beach. We are only minutes by car from the beautiful city of Fernandina Beach, Fort Clinch State Park, the historic Amelia Island Lighthouse, the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, the Amelia Island Plantation (upscale shopping opportunity), excellent golf courses, horseback riding, sailing, and other great local attractions. We highly recommend a short evening drive to dockside in Fernandina Beach, where the sunset over the Amelia River is spectacular!
We use PayPal for transactions, but we will certainly take personal checks if you prefer. PayPal easily links to major credit cards or your bank account, even if you are not a PayPal member. We require a $200 refundable deposit to secure your reservation; you may pay the rental balance in installments if you wish!
NOTE: In the nearly six years we have rented our condo, we have NEVER had to withhold any of our guests deposit money! Two reasons for this: (1) We understand normal wear and tear, and (2) We get great guests!!

Why the Owner Chose Amelia Landings
Since we have daughters and grand kids living in Orlando and the Charleston areas, we wanted a place roughly half way between the two locations. Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island is just perfect for us! We get down there when we can (2-3 times a year) and rent it out the remainder of the year.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We enjoy the beach, of course, but just as important to us is the great little town of Fernandina Beach. We never run out of new things to explore, learn about. This historic city and island has many surprises! We love having a drink on the dock and watching the sun set over the Amelia River. Walking and biking on the Island is always a pleasure. Each time we go we make new acquaintances and friends.
With our busy lives as administrators, teachers, counselors, we head to our "Island Home" to relax; the screened balcony on our condo overlooking the woods is where you may often find us!

Path is a combination of boardwalk and coquina shells. Takes about five minutes from this point to the beach.

We live in Marshalltown, Iowa, and we both work for Iowa Valley Community College District. Linda is a Library Supervisor, and Bob is the Project Director for Distance Learning for the District. We both also teach psychology classes, and Bob is a part-time marriage counselor.
Linda has two adult sons, one in Mason City, IA, and one in St. Paul, MN. Bob has three adult daughters, two in Orlando, FL, and one on Daniel Island, SC. We have four wonderful grandsons and a super-duper step-granddaughter.
When we are not traveling to see kids, we spend a lot of time on house renovation (which is also why we are working beyond the "normal" retirement age!).

I recently had my wedding in the beautiful Amelia Island area, and my bridesmaids and I rented this wonderful condo for a few days leading up to the wedding. This was the PERFECT place for us. There was plenty of space for us 5 girls (the 2 bathrooms and extra vanity/sink were definitely a help!), and we had ample space to get to hang out, cha, get ready in the mornings, etc. The kitchen and washer/dryer were great to have handy as well! I would definitely recommend staying here. It is a great little getaway so close to the beach (within easy walking distance), and it is in a nice, quiet, and secluded complex. Plus, it's so much cheaper than staying at a hotel...the savings just can't be beat. And going through the process of renting couldn't be easier! Rob and Lin were great and I would definitely stay here again.

Great, quiet place to stay. Across from the beach, but a very nice trail that leads to the beach. Close to many nice shops and great sea food! We would highly recommend this condo. Clean and well taken care of by great care takers, on the premises.

The condo was clean, comfortable and the right price. We have been to Amelia Island many times and usually stay on the beach. This trip we booked Robert and Linda's condo to save money and enjoy the many wonderful restaurants there. One night we picked up fresh shrimp from Mayport and steamed them in our well stocked kitchen. Your porch is a great place for morning coffee and to plan the days activities with the guides and menus you provided. We didn't mind the short walk to the beach because it gave us a chance to see the beautiful live oaks on our way. Thanks for sharing your condo with us for a week of good eating and relaxing. It is a great place to stay on the island and we will return.

We stayed in this condo for a few days in August for a quick get away from Orlando; It is very clean, well stocked, spacious, and the porch is a nice bonus; the owners have beach gear readily available and that helped! Owners were very curteous and attentive to our needs; they checked in with us a few times to make sure we got in ok and were able to check in as we had arrived fairly late; the cleaning crew being next door and avilable in the event there are any issues made us feel comfortable. Thank you for sharing your condo with us!

My wife and I and our two boys went to Ameilia Island for a triathlon that my wife was running. The location was perfect. While there, we enjoyed a great time at the beach and good food. The condo was easy walking distance to the beach. The condo was clean and comfortable. The pictures represent exactly what you will see when you get there. There are a couple of beach chairs and boogie boards that we could use on the beach too. I believe that the price for the condo is very fair. I would highly recommend this condo.

My family and I stayed at your wonderful condo at Amelia Landing for the 3rd time. We were there 06/25-07/02. The condo is just as described and a wonderful home away form home. All the amenities are there. We came down for an All Girl's Getaway, my Mom, my Aunt, My daughter and my niece. We had awesome weather, a couple of scattered showers, but that was usually in the afternoon when we were resting up to go shop! The beach was nice and we had just enough waves for the girls to boogie board. We were happy to find some new places to shop and eat. Thank you so much for being so kind to us. We will definitely be back! My grandmother was missed greatly on this trip, as you remember she always came with us. We marked the 1 year anniversary of her passing on July 1st, grateful we were all together in such a special place that she had enjoyed also. Thanks again, Andrea Frenzl and Family

The condo was perfect for us. We were exactly where we wanted to be; a nice secluded area with lots of shade and then only a walk or bike ride to the beach. Everything was quiet and peaceful; the pool was warm and well taken care of as were all the grounds. We enjoyed having coffee and breakfast on the lanai in the morning! And we even saw a family of Armadillos in the back area when we went around to check on the trailer. We'd love to be able to stay there all the time! Thank you.
