Relax with sea breezes sweeping through the comfortable living area with views
Location: Downtown (Viejo Vallarta), Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexican Riviera, Mexico (4 blocks from Malecon, 1 block behind "Cafe Des Artistes")
Accommodations: Condo, 2 Bedrooms + No additional sleeping rooms avail, 2 Baths (Sleeps 4)
Keywords: Condominium
This beautiful two bedroom Condo has lovely ocean views from the living room and master bedroom - you can even hear the waves at night! Spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed from the condo or the roof terrace. The Condo complex is three stories high (our unit is on the second floor) and only has six Condos in it. There is an on-site caretaker who also acts as security. There is inclusive maid-service on Monday's and Friday's (Wednesday's can be added for another 200 pesos per time).
The heated pool has just been fully refurbished and the terrace has new patio furniture and chaises. There is also a "palapa" for shade from the sun and evening gatherings.
With private balconies off each bedroom through french doors, the Condo has a wonderful sense of fresh air. We usually leave the windows open day and night.
The floors are tiled in typical Spanish style but the living furniture is new and very comfortable.
Cobbled streets outside the complex lead down to the Malecon (five minutes) and Downtown with all its wonderful galleries, restaurants and nightlife.

Why the Owner Chose Downtown (Viejo Vallarta)
We bought the property in the Old Downtown because we wanted the authentic feel of Puerto Vallarta with the cobbled streets and red tiled roofs. The old Downtown has most of the great art galleries, many of the great restaurants - "Cafe Des Artistes" is just a 5 minute walk from the condo. The Malecon (the seafront promenade) is here - just 8 minutes walk from the condo, where you can stroll along in the evening and watch the world go by. The buildings in the area all have an authentic Mexican feel, rather than the modern sterile blocks that are being built in Nuevo Vallarta and some other parts of the city - which just feel like Hiltons anywhere in the world. In this part of town, we feel like we are in another culture - it feels very mediterranean - Portugal, Spain or Italy. We love the fact that here the rainforest meets the sea. The sunsets are spectacular. Overall, there is always lots to do in this part of town - it is a truly cosmopolitan city with something for everyone.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
The condo building only has 6 condos, so it feels more like a large Spanish house divided up, rather than a condo building. Often we are the only people by the pool. We love having an onsite caretaker who looks after any problems we might have while staying in Puerto Vallarta. The condo itself is about 5 blocks back from the Malecon, up the hill so we get views out over the bay from our Living Room and Bedroom. There is also a breeze that is constantly coming through the condo - so keeping things cool - something that does not happen lower down by the water.
The condo has Spanish tile floors and textured walls - so you really feel you are in Mexico.
Since we are back from the Malecon, the area is quieter, and since we are on a dead-end street, there are no cars just passing by. We recently bought a new king size bed and furniture for the Master Bedroom, new fans for the Living Room and a new fridge/freezer. Since we bought this place primarily for ourselves, we like to keep the place looking as good as possible so we can just relax and have fun when we are there.

We rented this condo for a week in September 2010. It was absolutely amazing! Everything was exactly as described; clean, comfortable and convenient. Heriberto and Aurora were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely stay here again and will be sure to recommend you to all our friends and family. Thank you very much!

We stayed in this condo for 2 months, Jan-Feb and felt very comfortable for our entire stay. Neighbors were nice and the owners were very accomodating and sensitive to our needs. The coffee maker broke and it was immediately replaced. The caretaker was very helpful to our needs and friendly. Location is a big +. We especially liked being in a neighborhood and being treated like a neighbor. We look forward to our next stay at Condominium Ibiza.

WE WILL NEVER STAY IN A HOTEL IN PUERTO VALLARTA AGAIN! Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in this FABULOUS condo. It was a piece of heaven. Amazing decor, extremely clean, very nice neighbors, safety, incredible view, and it had everything you could possibly need. Our favorite things about staying at this condo was how close it was to the ocean, shopping, and nightlife, the convienience of having a washer and dryer (you need it with how hot it gets outside), the air conditioners, and the most comfortable bed we've ever slept in. You can't possibly get these things at a hotel. We will be back to this condo every year!

Fabulous condo! Everything you need is here. Lots of towels and bedding. The maid service that is included in the price is perfect. The complex is small so we frequently had the pool to ourselves. No pool rules like at some places so we could have a quick and quiet dip at 11pm. The temperature in the condo is very comfortable. Doors and windows all open to allow the breeze to flow through. This unit has good sized rooms and 3 patios. Two couples would never feel cramped. There is a little patio at the back with a washer and dryer and a clothes line for drying swimsuits and towels. Patios off of each bedroom as well. Wi-Fi was working for the 2 weeks we were there. Speed was fast. There is an internet cafe very close by if you need to print anything (boarding passes). This was my first VRBO experience and it couldn't have been better. The owners communicated well and answered all my questons promptly. I will definately stay there again.

This is a lovely condo in a perfect location for cool evening breezes, afternoon sun by the pool, walks to the quaint old town shops and wonderful local cafes. The building is secure and looked after by a helpful caretaker. The owners provide excellent information and suggestions. We loved our week's stay in March, 2008.

Great location. And what a lovely apartment - very Spanish with a great view of the Pacific, and everything you need right there. Walking distance to lots of really good restaurants (especially loved Barcelona Restaurant), shops, niteclubs, and of course the beach. But it's nice and quiet, just up the hill from all the action. This place makes you feel like you're a local (but with maid service). Can't wait to go back!

I loved the condo. The decor was really authentic. Loved the tile floor. Two Bedroom and Two Baths make it great to share 2 couples. The views from the bedroom and the roof veranda are stunning! It is a great location to experience the local life!

Sitting on the veranda outside the master bedroom in the cool of the morning enjoying a cup of coffee and looking out to the Bay thinking "what more could I ask for?" Well I found the answer to that question..my friend & I went up to the roof patio in the early evening with Margaritas and saw the most breathtaking sunset ever. The panoramic view from the roof is spectacular. Your condo is amazingly stocked with all the necessities and so convenient to restaurants, local markets, shopping, the beach & the bus line when we decided to journey further and not walk. Love the heated pool with the adorable tiled turtle on the bottom. We do have one complaint, our week was definitely not long enough. Looking forward to next year.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ibiza. Like everyone else had said it is in a beautiful location on the hill of downtown PV. The condo is a 5-15 walk to everything from the beach to grocery shopping. We brought our 2 year old son who had a blast in the pool. Jose and his wife were extremely helpful while we stayed there. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
