This is literally my home away from home. The spacious rooms include two large bedrooms with King Size beds with balconies/sundeck, living room with wood-burning fireplace, kitchen (new appliances), dining room, sunroom/office, courtyard, two-car attached garage with genie, completely furnished. Three TVs, 3 DVD players, sofa bed, three full bathrooms, linens, towels, kitchen accessories, iron, clubhouse, pool, on-site stocked fishing pond with ducks and geese and fountain sprays. Just beautiful! No large groups please.
Fast food heaven. Taco Bell, Burger King, McDonalds, Popeyes, Chuck E Cheese, Wafflehouse on corner. Reeves's Grocery can walk to, one exit from Super Target and Super WalMart, six exits from the Mall of Louisiana. 10 minutes to LSU. Townhouse is near I-10/I-12 split and Sherwood Forest Boulevard, off of N. Harrell's Ferry.

Listing was accurately described. The property was clean and well stocked with basic items you may have forgotten...sugar,salt, coffee creamer etc... If you are comming from a far distance and need to leave early, it's a bit difficult to get the sheets and towels washed and dried and folded as requested. Apart from that, all was good and I would defintiely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Baton Rouge.

Very nice townhome.
Very nice townhome.
We rented this townhome with another couple for the LSU game. Cheaper than renting two hotel rooms for two nights, and this provided much more room. Well maintained, clean, 3 full bathrooms, a very nice patio area with a killer grill. Even had an upstairs balcony off of one of the bedrooms. Did not use paddleboat, but did feed the ducks on the lake. Very close to interstate to get you anywhere in a hurry. Would rent again. Owner very good at communications. Thanks!!

Why the Owner Chose Baton Rouge:
I purchased this condo literally on the phone 4 days after hurricane Katrina. This was my home while the house in Metairie, La. was being repaired. During that time I renovated this condo to be the Home Away From Home that you see today. It is very very comfortable and homey. I do a lot of rentals to other evacuees for hurricanes in the area, as I since then moved to my 'happy place', Breckenridge, Colorado. I also have another condo listed on this site #223039 in Breckenridge...a little ski town.
