Your Coastal vacation is waiting with recreational choices galore! Golf enthusiasts will enjoy the many golf courses in the MD/DE resort area including the new Jack Nicklaus signature course in "Bayside" only one and a half miles from your door! Grocery shopping is a breeze at the upscale Harris Teeter Market which also includes a Starbucks. Shoppers will delight at the bargains at the nearby outlets or array of boutiques. Remember, Delaware is the home of tax free shopping! Boaters get ready-there are plenty of choices with jet skiing, kayaking, sailing and more.
You will have access to the community crabbing/fishing pier or take advantage of one of the nearby charter boats for a day of fishing. After a day at the beach or boating, enjoy a relaxing dinner in one of the numerous restaurants nearby (select from our menu book at the house) or whip up a meal in the gourmet kitchen complete with cookbooks, Kitchen Aid mixer, Cuisinart blender and service for 12 persons.
Your vacation retreat is a three level, 2500 square foot spacious townhome with nine foot ceilings on the main level as well as the master suite. Professionally decorated, it includes a "Tommy Bahama" inspired Master suite, Coastal Caribbean living area, and two additional bedrooms. The second master suite is decorated in "Tropical Palm" with a queen size bed and the children's bedroom is "On the Dock of the Bay" fun (bunk beds with two double mattresses and a single trundle)!
Pamper yourself in the jetted tub in the Master Bath or enjoy the deluxe rain-shower in the oversized glass enclosed shower. If work requires a quick check, the office in the Master suite is equipped with high speed internet as well as fax, copier/printer. Just bring along your laptop! A Florida room adjacent to the great room and sunroom off the second Master suite complete your getaway home(both with queen sleepers).
You will feel pampered as you wind down and relax, whether it's sitting by the fire on a cool night or spending an evening with family and friends playing a game of ping pong or choosing a game from our selection. A wide array of books from fiction to local beach history are available for your reading pleasure. Taking a bike ride becomes a breeze, as there is an assortment of bikes and helmets for your use. Beach chairs and a large cooler are provided for your long days at the beach.
If you choose not to venture far, the community boasts a lakeside outdoor pool, tennis, basketball, volleyball, fitness center, playground and more! The pool and fitness center are within walking distance of your door. Any extra fees? Don't worry, there are none. Your only concern will be when to schedule a return to your Coastal retreat. Enjoy!

We've been coming to Delaware for 8 years and have always gone through a realtor. This was our first time using VRBO, we found the experience terrific and would recommend to others. In the past we've stayed at Bear Trap or Bayside; however, we were not at all disappointed with Bayville Shores. Since we are not golfers and like to drive ourselves to the beach, we didn't miss those extras and loved not having to pay a recreation fee. The complex was lovely with a pool, tennis courts and fitness room which I took advantage of on those rainy mornings. The townhome had beautiful water views, we particularly enjoyed having breakfast each morning in the sunroom. This unit is exactly as described, beautifully decorated and clean. We vacationed with our son, daughter in law and 3 year granddaughter. The unit layout made it perfect for us with the two master suites and separate floors. The owners really have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The home is equipped with everything you could possibly need, including beach chairs, boggie boards, beach toys, cooler and a beach umbrella. Not having to bring these items from home was appreciated. It would have been nice if linens were provided, but it really wasn't a big deal having to bring those items. Prior to arriving we had a few questions which were very quickly answered by Diane. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend this unit.

The photos of this townhome do not do it justice. It is larger than it appears in the pictures, and while pretty in the pictures, it is absolutely beautiful in person. It has been professionally decorated, and it really shows. My family spent the Thanksgiving holiday there, and had a wonderful time. The kids enjoyed using the bikes, playing ping-pong, and watching the Macy's Day Parade with the fireplace lit beneath the television. The adults loved the views from every window! We hope to get the chance to return soon.

My husband, Bob, myself, our daughter, Sue, and her family spent a week in this absolutely beautiful townhouse. No words or photos could ever give you the true look and feeling of this home, it is breathtakingly beautiful! You can feel the warmth of the homeowners in every room. They have taken care of your every need while staying in their home by the bay. It was a very relaxing, enjoyable vacation for all of us. Our grandsons 15 & 13 totally enjoyed the great bikes, ping pong, basketball and tennis courts. Our every need was met by the owners, great area...great townhouse...great time with our family and great vacation. Thank you D and P for your graciousness and love that went into your beautiful home.

Our family love, love, loved this place. The house had everything we needed. We have young children so being able to walk to the pool and playground was a real plus. The adults loved the views, the kids loved the yard to play in and the driveway to ride scooters, play games and do sidewalk chalk. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking to relax yet have easy access to all Fenwick and OC have to offer. How could I forget...this house is amazingly decorated!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay in your beautiful home. Our family was pleasantly surprised by how well-equiped the house was, the bikes and the kayak were put to good use, the pool and work-out facility, the tennis courts, we enjoyed the use of them all. We had ping-pong tournaments every day. The house proved to be a perfect location to Ocean City, Rehoboth and the ferry into Cape May, NJ. Our favorite beaches were Fenwick Island State Park and Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes. We did so much, we had to come home to rest...we should've made our stay longer. Next time?

The pictures on the website do not do this place justice. It is absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful place to spend your vacation. The owners have thought of everything you could possibly need. My family and I plan to return every summer!
