If you are looking for a quiet spot to sit by the ocean and watch eagles soaring by, then this is the right place for you. Our new home offers sunny, south-facing ocean views from nearly all rooms as well as the three decks. The open-concept layout is perfect for families or small groups.
Located just outside the entrance to Pender Harbour, our home offers amazing views across the Georgia Strait. On clear days you can see right across to Vancouver Island. Watch the cruise ships passing by in the distance and sailboats going in and out of the harbour right in front of our home.
The house is full of warmth, both from the ample natural light, as well as our travels to South America, Asia and Africa. Everything is provided to ensure that you enjoy your stay to the maximum, including complementary speciality shampoos, conditioners and soaps from our local Watkins supplier. We also have free wireless internet available.
Upstairs we have an open concept kitchen, dining room and living room all with stunning ocean views. Right off this area is the ample front deck. The master bedroomm which also looks out over the ocean, has an ensuite bath with a big soaker tub while there is also a second bedroom and bathroom on this floor.
Downstairs are two bedrooms and a large recreation room all with the same spectacular ocean view, along with a third bathroom. The rec room has a gas fireplace with rock work extending up to the ceiling, a cozy seating area, a large screen LCD TV (with HD and DVR), as well as a brand new foosball table and games table for entertainment. On the expanded bottom deck we have installed a brand new high end Jackson Grill stainless steel BBQ.
Our home has ocean access, and we have built stairs down to the water. If you are adventurous, take a jump off our perfect rock into the refreshing water, and then warm up on the rocks in the sunshine. In the cooler seasons, you might opt to simply walk along the ocean’s edge and look in the tide pools. There is also a look-out spot with a comfy chair just steps from the house where you can sit alone with your morning coffee for a moment of quiet reflection.
Steps from our home are great hikes to Pender Hill, Daniel Point and Sakinaw Lake and a bit further afield Mt. Daniel and the world famous Skoocumchuck Narrows. Nearby, you also have kayak and motorboat rental, boat trips up Princess Louisa Inlet, fishing, Pender Harbour boat tours, fine and casual dining, a new spa, biking, swimming in the ocean or five nearby freshwater lakes.
The house is also well set up for children, including an enclosed lower deck for babies and toddlers as well as a brand new playground with swings, monkey bars and a climbing wall for those a bit older.

We stayed for 4 nights with our children aged 10+ and had a beautiful stay. The location of this house and the area are exceptionally beautiful even by BC standards. Within walking distance are the Pender Hill hike and Daniel Point park. The house is very clean, cozy, and well equipped for cooking, playing games, doing puzzles, reading, stargazing, and soaking in the amazing view.

Several friends and I stayed at Brook's Nook for a week in February 2010. We were blown away by the spectacular scenery, but also by the warmth and comfort within the home. It was even more pleasant than the photos and description suggested. Throughout our stay we felt the reach of the Brook family's generosity and hospitality. Everything was clean and organized and we were provided with detailed information about the area, ranging from restaurants to local attractions. We felt especially pampered for being supplied with natural and organic bath and kitchen products. During our stay we explored the oceanfront below the property and walked to Daniel Point where we enjoyed sunsets and saw marine wildlife from starfish to 'Smiley' the sea lion. We also hiked up Mount Daniel to enjoy the view of Pender Harbour from the top, and visited a local artisan shop. Whether you intend to relax with family and friends or get out and explore Pender Harbour and the Sunshine Coast, Brook's nook provides a comfortable and scenic vacation getaway. I strongly recommend this property rental at any time of the year, and personally look forward to staying here again in the future.

we had the good fortune to be able to rent brook's nook for a week in august of 2009. we found that the house was the perfect set up for 2 families to share, with 1 family sleeping upstairs, and the other downstairs. with our young children, there was lots to do, and the house had multiple areas for them to enjoy, including 2 beautiful decks with amazing views. the house itself is really nice - clean, comfortable, and with all the amenities of a modern home. the location is great, just a few minutes walk from a nice marine park, and a short drive to many of the attractions of pender harbour. we hope to be able to return again soon.
