GULF FRONT townhome is located right on the beach. Walk out the back door and you are steps away from the beach and pool. We are in a very remote, private area with only single family homes at least a mile either way up or down the beach. No highrises or crowds.
Come enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Forgotten Coast, and stay in a beautifully remodeled 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome. Watch the dolphins play from your own screened back patio, and take in the stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico. This lovely townhome is located between Cape San Blas and Indian Pass, and offers a true paradise away from hectic daily life.
Families will enjoy the use of the community pool, shared by only 12 units, as well as the sun and sand of the wide beach, just steps from your back door. Great fishing, quiet laid back days on the beach, time to relax and enjoy, it is all here. Forget the crowded beaches of Destin, come to the Forgotten Coast, and enjoy the quiet beauty of this memorable place.
We now have wireless high speed internet so you can stay in touch with home or work. You can make it a working vacation if need be. We also just installed a new 40' LCD HDTV in 2010.
This end unit sleeps 6 with 2 King Sized Beds and 1 Queen Sized Sofa sleeper, and has an oceanfront deck off the master bedroom and a screened patio, both offering fantastic views of the Gulf of Mexico. BOTH THE UNIT AND THE BEACH ARE PET-FRIENDLY TOO!
If the week that you want is already booked, please be sure to check out my other VRBO listing #347695.

We loved our beach experience at this condo. The photos of the condo were accurate in depicting the spaces. The king sized beds were very comfortable. The porches were favorite areas for ourselves and our pets. The best feature is the close proximity to a beautiful beach. The owner was very receptive to our needs. We plan to visit again soon.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We enjoyed our week at the beach. The unit was comfortable, had wonderful hard surface flooring, and was so close to the beach. Our two shi tzu dogs loved their walks around the units and on the beach. The owner was receptive to our needs. The washer and dryer were in great working order. The king sized beds were very comfortable. We would definitely return for another week.Recommended for: Pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway.

Only good comment I have about this townhouse is that it is located right on the beach-nice view of ocean. Interior of unit needs some TLC. Was disappointed with numerous issues which included: 1) no hand soap in any of the bathrooms, 2) no dish soap to wash dishes, 3) kitchen towels/dish rags were stained and smelled funky, 4) sheets in master bedroom were dingy and questionable if they had been thoroughly laundered; 5) light bulb missing in master bedroom lamp; 6) light fixture not working on deck. Overall, we felt we could have done better at a hotel for the money. We feel the owner is not concerned about catering to his renters, but is more in it for the money.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/3

I spoke by phone today with the owner of the unit. He was concerned about my review comments regarding the cleanliness of the unit. He reminded me that I could have called him to have the cleanliness issue resolved during our stay. He noted that painting, cleaning, and furniture replace will be coming shortly. He seems to genuinely want to resolve our issues and I hope he will follow thru. The unit does have good views of the Gulf, very close parking for unloading your luggage, good back yard with grass. With cleanliness issue resolved the unit would be on par with other property and of good value. You may want to contact the owner to discuss any issues.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car.

Great beach vacation, right on the beach with a wonderful pool. The condo has plenty of room, the kitchen has anything you could possibly need. The bed was wonderful but the very best part was the second floor balcony. Sitting there in the morning with a nice cup of coffee watching the waves, smelling the ocean, and watching the birds was a nice way to begin each day. On our last day we saw 4 bald eagles on the beach (3 adults and 1 juvenile). It was spotlessly clean. My only complaint was the living room furniture was in bad need of updating but I would definitely go back. The owner is great. Every time I called him, he answered immediately. Can't wait to go back. Great food in the area! The Dockside for seafood but the best was Provisions in the shop area of Port St. Joe. OMG it was most amazing! Kiss the cook!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

We so much enjoyed our seven day stay on this wonderful beach! Also, we found the condo to be just what we wanted and indeed does look just like the pictures. We enjoyed the fact that we could walk out the front porch and walk just yards to the beach. Every morning we had coffee on the balcony upstairs, enjoying the wildlife that are around this beach. The condo had all of the things we needed for us to make our meals. We did eat out a few times and just loved the Indian Pass Raw Bar. All of the local folks were so friendly. We did not use the pool, but it certainly is a plus. I would recommend this condo highly to my friends, (in fact, I already have). We also found the owner, Bill, very friendly and so very helpful!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

My family and I recently returned from a week at the town house and we all agree we wish we could go back tomorrow. The photos of the rental are very accurate. We had a walk on the beach every day and it was handy and accessible. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the wide variety of birds. We had several Bald Eagle sightings, which was delightfully unexpected. The local restaurants: Joe Mamas, Peppers and Sunset Grill were very good. The owner was very nice and helpful, when we arrived after dark and couldn't locate the Villas. My daughter had a little college homework to do while we were there and having the free wifi was ideal.Recommended for: Pet owners, age 55+.

WOW…..I have no idea where to begin! What a wonderful week at the beach! The condo was everything you needed and more! The only thing that you need to bring is food and a bathing suit, what else is needed at the beach. We had a small issue with the hot water heater; it went out and was replaced less than 24 hours. Steve was wonderful! I am so looking forward to making this my annual vacation spot!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway.

This Townhouse is everything it says and the pictures posted are very accurate, it is literally right on the beach. Although the weather for our trip was not the usual Florida weather and much colder than normal, we still went for a walk every day on the beautiful beach that goes on for miles! A beachcomber's dream with all kinds of shells, starfish, etc. The town of Port St. Joe has two WONDERFUL places to eat: Provisions - right downtown and Sunset Coastal Grill which is on the main road (Highway 98 or 30A I think it is). Great place for romantic vacation or to decompress from the stresses of life! We felt like we had miles of beach all to ourselves and townhouse peacefully quiet! The Forgotten Coast is a great place to rediscover, great for sightseeing and golf too!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

This was my families first time to the area and absolutely loved the area, the condo, and especially the beach. This really is the forgotten beach, almost like having a private beach. The condo was very nice and exactly as described. The bayou was fun for the kids, the pool was a nice, and the huge beach area was great. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, sightseeing, adventure seekers.

About the owner: We live in St Louis, MO and try to get down to the beach as often as possible. This isn't just a rental property. It is our vacation townhouse and we have furnished and equipped it like our home. We do not own any other properties and we make sure that our beach townhouse is as nice as it can be. UPDATE: We love the area so much that we have moved to Port St Joe, FL full time and we currently manage our properties ourselves. We also have a townhouse in Barrier Dunes, VRBO listing #347695 that we own and operate.
Why the Owner Chose Cape Villas:
We purchased our townhouse because it is such a great location. It is very quiet and undeveloped. It is one of the few places that you can find a beautiful beach that is not crowed with high rise condos and hotels. The surrounding area is charmimg with great restaurants and the locals are very outgoing and friendly.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
You will enjoy being right on the beach in a very private setting. The development is very small, only 3 buildings, and the pool is right on the beach. The fishing is great from the shore and you can catch crabs in the bayou. Both bedrooms have king size beds and the townhouse is like home.
