GULF FRONT townhome is located right on the beach. Walk out the back door and you are steps away from the beach and pool. We are in a very remote, private area with only single family homes at least a mile either way up or down the beach. No highrises or crowds.

We now have wireless high speed internet so you can stay in touch with home or work. You can make it a working vacation if need be. We also just installed a new 40" LCD HDTV in 2010.
This end unit sleeps 6 with 2 King Sized Beds and 1 Queen Sized Sofa sleeper, and has an oceanfront deck off the master bedroom and a screened patio, both offering fantastic views of the Gulf of Mexico. BOTH THE UNIT AND THE BEACH ARE PET-FRIENDLY TOO!

Why the Owner Chose Cape Villas
We purchased our townhouse because it is such a great location. It is very quiet and undeveloped. It is one of the few places that you can find a beautiful beach that is not crowed with high rise condos and hotels. The surrounding area is charmimg with great restaurants and the locals are very outgoing and friendly.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
You will enjoy being right on the beach in a very private setting. The development is very small, only 3 buildings, and the pool is right on the beach. The fishing is great from the shore and you can catch crabs in the bayou. Both bedrooms have king size beds and the townhouse is like home.

We live in St Louis, MO and try to get down to the beach as often as possible. This isn't just a rental property. It is our vacation townhouse and we have furnished and equipped it like our home. We do not own any other properties and we make sure that our beach townhouse is as nice as it can be.

My family and I recently returned from a week at the town house and we all agree we wish we could go back tomorrow. The photos of the rental are very accurate. We had a walk on the beach every day and it was handy and accessible. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the wide variety of birds. We had several Bald Eagle sightings, which was delightfully unexpected. The local restaurants: Joe Mamas, Peppers and Sunset Grill were very good. The owner was very nice and helpful, when we arrived after dark and couldn't locate the Villas. My daughter had a little college homework to do while we were there and having the free wifi was ideal.
Recommended for:Pet owners, age 55+.

WOW…..I have no idea where to begin! What a wonderful week at the beach! The condo was everything you needed and more! The only thing that you need to bring is food and a bathing suit, what else is needed at the beach. We had a small issue with the hot water heater; it went out and was replaced less than 24 hours. Steve was wonderful! I am so looking forward to making this my annual vacation spot!
Recommended for:Pet owners, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This Townhouse is everything it says and the pictures posted are very accurate, it is literally right on the beach. Although the weather for our trip was not the usual Florida weather and much colder than normal, we still went for a walk every day on the beautiful beach that goes on for miles! A beachcomber's dream with all kinds of shells, starfish, etc. The town of Port St. Joe has two WONDERFUL places to eat: Provisions - right downtown and Sunset Coastal Grill which is on the main road (Highway 98 or 30A I think it is). Great place for romantic vacation or to decompress from the stresses of life! We felt like we had miles of beach all to ourselves and townhouse peacefully quiet! The Forgotten Coast is a great place to rediscover, great for sightseeing and golf too!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway.

This was my families first time to the area and absolutely loved the area, the condo, and especially the beach. This really is the forgotten beach, almost like having a private beach. The condo was very nice and exactly as described. The bayou was fun for the kids, the pool was a nice, and the huge beach area was great. Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise.

I have vacationed in this area for over 20 years, staying in a wide array of rental housing between Indian Pass and the north part of Cape San Blas. THIS is my favorite location! In fact, this is my third stay (in a row) in this condo. It is very comfortable, extremely well equipped and even offers a little extra privacy, since it's an end unit. The beach, which really is only steps away from the back door, is wide, clean and a shell collector's dream! The community pool, offers a wonderful, cool respite after time spent in the sun. My favorite reading spot is the upstairs balcony with its comfortable chairs and elevated view of the beach and Money Bayou, a gently curving tidal creek that joins the Gulf of Mexico right HERE! I am at the table on the screened porch as I type this, looking out at the waves and white sand, relishing the rhythm of the pounding surf, and I'm thinking, "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...When can I come back?"

Accommodations are as advertised. Nice back yard, pool and on the beach. We had a great time. We had some bad weather for part of the week, but the upstairs deck was great to sit on and watch the storm roll in. Plus, there was plenty of room on the deck for our 2 year old to play with her toys. The condo is spacious. Did not feel cramped at all, plenty of room if you wanted to invite some guests to visit you on your vacation for a day or two. There is a good chance we will return to this condo on future beach vacations to the area. PROS: Great location for all kinds of water activities. Beach and pool were both great and it seemed like we had them to ourselves most of the time. Close enough to the grocery store, 10 minutes, to not be too inconvenient. Liquor store only 5 minutes. Deck on condo was great place to feel like we were still on the beach while our 2 year old napped. CONS: The VRBO listing does not disclose all costs on the main page, we were surprised by extra "other charges", $165, charged by the property management, and the additional pet fee, $100. These charges are fine, but should be on the section of the page giving pricing information. I have just learned to ask next time. The condo complex was being repainted and they had removed the screen on the upper deck, which is actually a "PRO", however the contractor left behind the trim holding that had held the screen in with nails sticking out of it which we had to keep our 2 year old out of. It is a condo, so some of your enjoyment is affected by your neighbors. For a good portion of the week we had some neighbors in our quad who left beach gear strewn from their condo to the beach and they didn't pick up after their dogs. This is no fault of the condo, just something to keep in mind. Cars on the beach. There weren't many, but we weren't used to seeing cars on the beach on our previous trips to the area.

Beautiful views – one night we counted twelve dolphins, and there was a great egret and blue heron fishing in the stream next to us every night. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the beds (two kings) are very comfortable and the tile floor and furniture is comfortable and new. We plan to return next year. Guy Montgomery
