This summer, the Bear was stuck in the middle of a record setting heat wave and an escape to the mountains was just what was needed! The Big "E" is the perfect place to get away from everything. This property is nestled on a hillside in the woods north of Bailey, with a beautiful view of Deer Creek Valley. You can choose to stay in and enjoy the tranquility, or go out and explore all the mountains have to offer. The Big "E" is located far enough away from the main road to keep it peaceful, but close enough for a quick trip to shops and restaurants in Conifer or Bailey.
The Big "E" is a rustic retreat in keeping with its mountain location, but don't let that fool you. This house has all the comforts of home, including a hot tub! The Bear was accompanied by a few of his young friends who enjoyed the outdoor experience, while the adults appreciated the touches that make the Big "E" a safe and happy experience for travellers of all ages.

Bailey is a wonderful, quiet bedroom community, with spectacular views. This was originally my primary home, and after getting married transformed it into a vaction rental.

Within walking distance of National Forest, hiking, horse riding, fishing, and four wheeling trails, and with breathtaking Mount Evans views.
A beautiful lake nestled in castle like rock formations, a great place for a picnic, fishing, or quick swim.
A great 13 mile bike or four wheel trail loop through the forest that is practically across the street.
