Have to say our time there was great and value for money - enjoyed being able to have my son's family over and be able to cook for them instead of eating out all the time like we did when we stayed before in a hotel. The duplex was clean, roomy, well supplied - had everything we needed. Having the washer/drier in the garage was great too so we didnt go home with loads of washing! Pam and Caren were really helpful with all their communication. Would definitely recommend for anyone!!

Very satisfied w/ our stay. 2 adults and 3 children (10yr, 12yr, and 7 month old). We decided to do a last minute summer vacation w/ the kids and found an opening for 1-1/2 weeks away (end of August) so we booked. Very easy to find and it was very quiet location midweek. Small beach in front was great for the kids and wasn't a strong current if you stayed behind the dock. Kind of rocky once your knee deep so bring water shoes. You can go up river 1/2 mile to the bridge and then roughly another mile after the bridge to the dam. We took a jetski ride about 6 miles down river and it was very peaceful and scenic. Only setback we noticed was that the water was low in the mornings until about 10 or 11am but we were only there during the middle of the week so not sure how it is on the weekends. Very nice having access to the garage to store jetskis @ night and the living quarters were very comfortable. My 10 yr. old daughter told me after breakfast the first morning that she felt like she had been there before and would move there in a heartbeat! We wakeboarded and towed a tube behind or 3 seater jetski everyday we were there and had no conflict with crowded waters. On Tuesday we didn't see anyone else on the water until 3pm. If you need boat parts there are 2 boat shops across the bridge within 2-1/2 miles of house and also a powersports shop about 200 yds further for your PWC needs. Gas stations (off water) are about 3 miles away and a Super Walmart is about 4 miles away. For dining there are plenty of options between the boat shops and the Super Walmart if you don't want to stay in and cook your own meals. Everyone in our family decided unanimously that we would return again and that it was a great river trip.

This home was exceptional! Absolutely fabulous! It was great for all ages. We were 3 young couples and a 2 year old. The house was extremely safe for my 2 year old niece. She loved having her own little dock to kick her feet on, to play with rocks, and her toys. Having our own dock was so much fun. The fire pit down below was the scene for so many great memories. We just loved it down there. The house was spotless, convenient, clean and very well equipped. The sinks in the bedrooms are so great when sharing a house with others. The bathrooms were very clean. The beds and living room were all very clean. The bedrooms are HUGE!!! And the living room and kitchen were perfect for accommodating all of us. We were so pleasantly surprised to find such a gem hidden along the river. The location is great. It’s a little off the beaten path which makes it not too busy or crazy but at the same time you are just minutes from Parker if you want to be. The location was great and the house couldn’t have been better. The view from the living room and kitchen is breathtaking. You have a full view of the beautiful river right outside one of the bedrooms and the living room. The view was great! It had great parking and was very easy to find. The entire experience was so easy and so great. I would recommend this home to anyone. The owners are very easy to work with as well and very good at communicating with the renter. We will definitely be back next year and our group had such a good time we’re thinking of a sneaking in a mid-year trip too. Thanks for everything. Till next time!!
