  • Everything you need for a LOVELY vacation!

"Our family of five (two adults, 3 children ages 12, 10, and 9) very much enjoyed this lovely property! The apartment is as bright and clean as the photos show. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to prepare, serve, and enjoy your meals. The beds, linens, and pillows are very comfortable and we all slept well. The small room off the dining area has floor-to-ceiling windows with shades for privacy/darkness while sleeping if you choose to sleep in the room (including shades to the inside of the apartment). The best part, though, is the view out of the living room windows--a beautiful view of False Creek and little David Lam Park below. We spent lots of time near the windows! The nearby area offers lots of dining options, a very nice market for groceries, and a short walk to the subway, water taxis, and BC place. One thing we loved about the location is that we parked our car in the provided spot and didn't move it until check out. We only had one problem and when I called Art to inquire, he immediately answered my call and helped me solve our problem--even offering to come and help us at the apartment (our problem--accessing the pool--just turn the key farther than you think it should go and the door opens right up!) Art was also more than gracious with our much later than anticipated arrival (we got stuck in rush hour traffic...) This apartment offers absolutely everything you could possibly need--both inside and in the area! We will definitely rent this property again if we head to Vancouver!"

  • Great stay in a great condo

"After reading the previous review about noise, heat and keys we were a little apprehensive - but that was completely blown away when we met the owners' son who gave us two sets of keys and showed us the air conditioner - which is simple to operate. We had blistering hot weather, but the condo was a haven of coolness when we returned from our many walks to bakeries and boutiques, trips to the beaches, Kitsilano's huge swimming pool and downtown Vancouver. Yes - W 4th Ave is busy during the rush hour but quiet after 10:00 pm. We live (most of the year) in a tranquil close and are not used to noise - but we had no problem. This is a well appointed condo in a well run building. We had one of our best vacations ever (and we have been throughout North America and to many parts of Europe and even Africa). The attraction for us was the ability to walk to countless tiny, chic retailers, coffee shops and restaurants and enjoy a trendy, upscale locale close to English Bay and the glorious water and mountain views. A bus stop right outside the main entrance to the condo development means you can get to Downtown Vancouver quickly and cheaply - without the hassle of finding and paying for parking. We walked to Granville Island a couple of times - and took the little passenger ferry once just for the fun of it. The owners are wonderful people who have thought of everything to create a perfect "pied-à-terre" to enjoy the unique environs. We can thoroughly recommend this condo and would really love to stay at this condo again in 2015."

  • Perfect family vacation rental in Vancouver!

"I highly recommend this property if you are looking to stay in a home in Vancouver. It was great for us with two kids ages 5 and 3 and would also be great for couples. The interior decor is fabulous - beautiful to look at and highly comfortable and functional. The yard was a dream for our kids and the park beyond the yard was the highlight of our whole trip. There were ducks to feed, dogs jumping in the lake to watch, sports and ice cream trucks and a charming playground filled with all the local families including the owners of the rental unit (who live above the unit and are unobtrusive yet available for anything you may need). We just missed the public ice skating rink (closed off season) which would be fantastic for a winter vacation. I can't say enough about how beautiful and amazing this park is and it is directly out the home's back gate. We went every day at some point. It is a family's dream. It is so easy to get around the greater city from the property. You can walk to the train or drive anywhere. There is parking in front of the house. We easily saw Grouse mountain, Granville island and market, Stanley park, downtown, and everywhere in between. We had a fabulous trip and it was thanks to Kristin, her family, their beautiful home and their warm and welcoming hospitality. Vancouver is beautiful and fun and perfect for an adventurous family trip and you must book this home if you are reading this - I promise you'll love it. We hope to go back again one day."

  • Good times with great people.

"The condo location was hard to beat with a short walk to the Aquabus and a short ride to Grandville Island. The condo was spacious and perfect for our group of 6. Thank you."
